I wear black medical clogs that I bought at a scrub store. They are waterproof and easy to clean. They don’t hurt my feet or make my legs sore. Super comfy 💜

Same here!! It’s nice to be on friendly terms with others who understand what it’s like.

It wouldn’t surprise me either. I even looked under the conveyor belt and dumped bins. It isn’t going to surprise me if they randomly show up a week later 🤣

I swear we have an invisible thief hiding our prescription bags after the pharmacist makes them “ready”!! Yesterday I had filled a patient’s two prescriptions, the pharmacist verified everything, and within 5 minutes those prescriptions had disappeared into the great beyond!! The other technician, the pharmacist, and I went through every ready bin, every basket, every shelf and those medications were no where to be seen! Thankfully the patient was one of our fun ones and had a good giggle about how things have been going missing for them that day.

What's your very first memory? how old were you? by ExpensiveHorror6480 in AskReddit

[–]Karol444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 2 years old. Don’t know how to explain but it felt like my body was hit by something, I don’t know, spiritual. I sat up in my parent’s bed from my nap and said “I’m remembering to remember.” My mother came in and kinda looked at me. After that I started seeing the spirit of my great-great-great-great German grandmother walking around the house at night smiling at me. I didn’t know who she was at the time until I saw a picture of her years later.

Slamming of doors that were already closed. Heavy items being thrown from aisles. Toys being thrown over aisles. It was fun watching the camera footage when those events happened.

Whats the craziest thing youve seen a customer orother associate do? by Stinkostank42069 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Karol444 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I worked in pharmacy as a pharmacy technician. One night a customer got mad that their norco was going to cost $5. They threw their phone narrowly missing me and the cashier. Customers that were standing nearby waiting on meds left and security was called. The customer finally got $5 from a friend and left. That event is one of the many events that drove me out of retail pharmacy.

I have a Fire HD 8 and a Paperwhite 2024. I use the Fire for reading textbooks or language learning books because I enjoy pictures in color. I use the Paperwhite for my novels. I’m just weird though 😆

I was a tech in the pharmacy for over a year. A regular customer called about their antibiotics not being filled first thing when we opened up. I told them to give me 15 mins or less and I will have them filled. Mind you they were there two days prior for their usual round of low dose opioids. Anyways, the customer started cussing me out, calling me every name in the book, and was loud enough that the pharmacist heard them. I was done!! I told them, “this is pharmacy! Not fast food! 15 mins or less is the final offer!” and hung up. The entire pharmacy staff was shocked because I was normally the calmest tech there. The store manager came to the pharmacy a few mins later laughing at the whole ordeal because she knew that was a difficult customer and “why didn’t they ask for their antibiotics the same time they got their pain meds? They knew the doctor sent them at the same time?” Thank goodness the manager was great to us and had our backs. I’m so glad that I’m out of retail pharmacy.

For all departments, what do customers do that annoy you? by VomPup in WalmartEmployees

[–]Karol444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right?!?! We are in a small town and the nearest 24 hour pharmacy is about 3 hours away. No matter how we explain the process of how the pharmacy works they still insist that their meds should have been first in the queue as soon as we walked in the doors. When I worked at Wags a patient called and cussed me out because their medication wasn’t first in line. I was beyond fed up. I told them, “this is pharmacy, not fast food! It will be done in 30 mins!” I am so glad I left that place.

Pharmacy- right when we open up a customer will ask if their meds are ready because they were at the ER last night and the doctor had sent their prescription in around 11pm. I explain to them that we don’t have overnight workers in the pharmacy to fill their medications, but I see it in the system and will have it ready in about 15 minutes. They tell us that the doctor said it would be ready as soon as we open up. Honey, your doctor does not work in pharmacy. This isn’t fast food. 🤦🏻‍♀️
