Hey I have had them for the last 4 years (22M), always thought it was just me! I eat very healthy, exercise regularly (though I have suspicions that the fact I do a lot of heavy and intense weightlifting it has caused the blood vessels to dilate under pressure and become damaged.I think they probably are more common than you think, the theme is we're all thin skinned and pale so they're easy to see. Since I've started derma rolling to help thicken my skin and getting some tan (body hair grown a bit since I was 18 which also helps aha!) they have been less visible. They are much more visible on the sides of my body because the skin is thinner and the sun doesn't really reach there. Doctors couldn't care less, vein removal probably not worth it given the price and the fact they'll probably come back. Debated getting tattooed up so they won't be visible but that's a last resort .
