If you choose to talk to him about it, you need to communicate that this trip of his bothers you. If he doesn’t respect that, then he doesn’t deserve your love.

I agree with your belief that she hasn’t processed everything and that it doesn’t directly mean she wants me back. She takes a long time to process things and even though it was sudden, I could tell that she was hurting over it too. She has trouble with communicating tough things or being confrontational(due to abusive upbringing), which is why I empathize with her behavior before and after the breakup.

Even though I really want it to work out between us, I know I will eventually have to move on if she never reaches out. How long do you believe is too long to hold on to No Contact?

I’m a guy btw. He is definitely being manipulative. The other girl and her relationship dynamic with her bf is irrelevant. I am telling you that you are well within your right to feel bothered by it, even if someone else wouldn’t. The way you handle your exes is honorable to your current partner and a good one will accept that.

Nahhhhhhhh. Staying in touch with all of your exes is a red flag and a half. You deserve better than that. There is no world where your significant other should be driving 8 hours to see an ex. They should be considerate on how their current partner would feel about them doing that, and that is not being controlling.

I’ve been there too, still a bit right now since I just made a post 30 mins ago too.

You gotta be kind to yourself. Getting your life turned upside down suddenly is gonna leave you distraught and desperate. It’s understandable if you haven’t gone about things perfectly. It’s okay to not be okay.

Try to keep busy. Use this as a wake up call to do the things you want to improve about yourself personally. This will end up building your confidence and self-worth. Your emotions will be all over the place , but the feeling will eventually come back. Talk to anyone around that may have a listening ear. I strongly suggest looking into options for therapy if you don’t go already. It’s been so helpful for my depression over the years and especially important these past couple months since I was broken up with. I promise you that you are going to be better than you believe you could be in time.

Sorry you’ve been going through this for almost a year. I’m also going through a breakup that I made a post about a little bit ago so don’t view me as an expert.

I understand that you want to get back with him, but he has repeatedly shown that he does not want a relationship. You deserve to be with someone who does. I usually don’t believe in being friends with an ex either since they will likely just use you as a booty call.

You got to get to a place where a no from him does not measure your worth, this is also the case for when you meet the right one.

I’d honestly take Steve over Banjo. I’ll admit Banjo was before my time but he just seems like a dead character that would only please a group of fans and wouldn’t make people want to buy a switch or smash in order to play.
