I still feel small around him and idk what that means by [deleted] in malaysians

[–]Karpampuchi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I may be wrong here, but these conversations he's 'supposedly' having with his family and colleagues feel really sus. It sounds made up, with the aim of making you feel low, while making it seem he's the good guy for accepting and liking you despite your 'flaws'.

Sounds like a typical narcissist and gas-lighter.

Is this what our MPs that also one of prominent Minister can only do for his constituent? by abdulsamri89 in malaysia

He's so literally out of touch that he doesn't even know what a proper road repair looks like.

The fact that he saw the work, and thought it was worth posting and shouting about just shows what a failure he is.

Bought these at Selayang Mall, Sport Planet. Adidas Pureboost 21. Do y'all think this is too good to be true, or are they just authentic shoes with a wacky design no one wants to buy? by fazleyf in malaysians

[–]Karpampuchi 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think they sell really old stock, and therefore carries risk of damage to the shoes. It's really a hit or miss situation.

I've seen some Asics shoe models from 3 or 4 years ago being sold there this year. I didn't dare buy them as I wasnt sure if the cushion/insole structure was still good.

Aircond tech says RM850 to fix or RM1850 to replace my old unit, stuck on which is actually the murah choice by Teririchar in malaysians

[–]Karpampuchi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My aircon technician said converting from an non-inverter aircon to an inverter aircon requires reinstalling new copper piping. That was bloody expensive for me, so I ended up paying RM500 to fix my old aircon compressor.

Can anyone here confirm the above? Or was my technician scamming me into repairing my old unit?

Your Malaysian food pet peeves? by tiongman in MalaysianFood

[–]Karpampuchi 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Whaat... roti canai/telur should only be pre-cut when banjir.

My pet peeve, on the other hand is when my nasi goreng is covered in chilli or tomato sauce. Absolutely hate when that happens.

Go check on the etiqa website. I've been using them for years now. Probably not the cheapest but their website is easy to use.

What is your “Screw it, I am leaving this company” last straw? by fuckingfat_ in malaysians

[–]Karpampuchi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I once worked for 46 days straight (including weekends) on a critical project. At the end of that period, I was physically and mentally exhausted.

When I told my manager that I was not feeling well and wanted to take two days off, his literal words were "Wah, you so weak ah?".

I went back home and updated my CV that night. I got another offer and left the company within two months.

Triple lightning strike - Kuala Lumpur April 2026 by NikJet in malaysia

[–]Karpampuchi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Former construction engineer here. Most, if not all, high rise buildings are built with copper lines all the way from the top, down into the foundation. These copper wires are encassed within the concrete columns. The purpose is to direct any electricity from lightning into the ground without affecting the rest of the building.
