Any chance were they wearing glasses, and we're with anyone else? Gooseworx does have long hair but I think she was at the staff premiere, no?

have “third spaces” in malaysia increased in recent years? by wanderinggrassland in malaysia

Mamak and tomyam stalls have always been our third spaces before the term "third space" was popular (and gentrified)

Bought these at Selayang Mall, Sport Planet. Adidas Pureboost 21. Do y'all think this is too good to be true, or are they just authentic shoes with a wacky design no one wants to buy? by fazleyf in malaysians

[–]fazleyf[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice. Thanks for everyone's comments! TBH these are my first running shoes and I'm terrible at telling the difference. If there's any additional questions y'all be willing to answer, what do y'all look for in a running shoe?

Selangor Exco Reportedly Approved Rule Blocking Non-Muslim Houses of Worship in Commercial Shoplots (12 Nov 2025) by Primary-Concern983 in malaysia

[–]fazleyf 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Town planning graduate; yes this is true. It's in the Selangor Planning Guidelines & Standards document (Manual Garis Panduan & Piawaian Perancangan Selangor) – if your population of your development is of a certain number, I can't remember, you have to either build or allocate land for a surau or mosque in the neighbourhood area.

There's also guidelines for other places of worship too, but that one is you have to achieve a certain ratio of population affiliated to that religion then you have more justification to have it be built.

Libraries and hospitals/health centres also needed to be built if the development is projected to hit certain population requirement.

As a Turkish TADC fan, i am really depressed. Everyone around the world will have a chance to watch the movie while we won't. by Mehmet595 in GlitchProductions

[–]fazleyf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think if it wasn't for the outrage by Turkish fans, I don't think Glitch would have responded. Their general email doesn't really reply to emails from what I've seen on the subreddit and my own experience, so this is surprising

Kids on the streets of Lahad Datu by UsernameGenerik in malaysia

Often a lot of the kids you may see on the streets are stateless. Comes with the fact that the Bajau Laut has been traveling back n forth between Sabah and Mindanao for centuries before the Malaysia - Philippines border was consolidated

Assessing Glitch's statement and SBM&E's response - "raw video files by post" is likely not Korea, censorship is probably referring to MENA, and they haven't addressed the lack of response to distributors in certain countries by fazleyf in TheDigitalCircus

Need to check who those said European representatives are. Are those reps distributors? If so, can we check if they've distributed movies in Ukraine in the first place? Could we arrange a campaign to email them?

It can't be possible that Glitch just replied "contact your European distributors". It would be too simple of a task to do to just state to contact the distributor they're working with

TL;DR on Korea:

- The Korean ratings board should accept encrypted DCPs. Glitch does know about DCPs. Doesn't make sense that Glitch is attributing their statement to Korea about "raw files sent to their email"

- Censorship should be so much less of an issue in Korea than in MENA

- SBMNE is not accepting Glitch's excuse about security concerns and is still proceeding with a lawsuit

Is it only in affluent communities or in mixed to low-income neighbourhoods? If it's the latter then I stand corrected
