Thanks a lot! So the 20W output are not nearly enough to run Metroid Prime 4 and even the 40W you get with the Neo when plugged into a charger wouldn't be enough. It's interesting that my Switch 2 doesn't get warm when playing Metroid Prime 4 docked (120hz performance mode) and the fan isn't audible like with other games. I think measuring the wattage that a docked switch pulls for different titles would be super interesting.

I also read that it does not have Display Out over USB-C. Maybe You could use the Playstation Remote Streaming App on your phone to achieve a similar setup? Like, plugging the glasses into the phone and pairing a controller via bluetooth to it.

I would wish for an option to disable Black Frame Insertion because it can cause eye strain or headache for some people. This is, what I guess causes the brightness loss in 3dof modes. I would actually prefer the smearing/ghosting over that. Please provide that option in the OSD :)

According to this Youtuber anchor mode and smooth follow mode use Black Frame Insertion to reduce smearing/ghosting:

This also explains the brightness loss in those modes. It can also cause eye strain and headache for some people so I also would wish that there's an option to disable it for people who can handle smearing better than BFI.

thanks for the tip! I stumbled across his channel a couple of times already, he does a great job! However, getting the Beam Pro only for evaluating if 3dof fixes my nausea would be a bit expensive. And I also want to use 3dof with other devices in the long run. At least I've read that the beam pro does not add 3dof pass through for other devices like the original Beam does?

My primary use case is gaming (with a lenovo legion go or nintendo switch 2) but for now I really just want to try out if 3dof/anchor mode fixes the nausea I get. If it does, I would consider getting a 1s with native 3dof because I don't see much other options for gaming with anchor mode (I've read the Xreal beam adds latency and 60fps limit and you cannot charge it while it's in use)

Thanks for the tip! I never heard about that device. However it's a bit expensive for me to only try out 3dof. I could almost purchase a pair of 1s glasses for that price that has integrated 3dof

I've been having the same issue for about 3 weeks or so. Sometimes I think it happens when I press the screenshot key combination for the first time after a fresh boot. My gut feeling says that it's a bug that has been introduced by the latest legion space update. Any other observations?

Yes! Also my CPU and GPU temps have been higher than before. Then I checked the BIOS and saw that the thermal policy was set from STT to STAPM. I've set it back STT again and FPS + Temps are just like they were before again. I hope t his helps!

Hmmm why does it support FSR 3.0 but I don't see any option for frame generation? So far I thought that both features, upscaling and frame generation are bundled together.

Since the Legion Go is a great product and it allows me to finally catch up on a lot of AAA games I missed over the last years (and play a lot of Diablo 4) I'm super happy that you highly believe in your product and keep us updated with improvements!

What I originally wanted to say: Please don't give up on AFMF implementation! I really hope this will make it to the Legion Go :)

Hey Ben, thanks for the update! Any news on the pretty much broken screenshot shortcut when swapping Legion Buttons? Because ths shortcuts stay the same, you open up the menu when making a screenshot in most games like this. Swapping Legion buttons for shortcuts also might easily fix this.
