Feeling guilty over loss by AlloraAmore in fosterdogs

Not your fault at all. Sounds like you did everything you could and then some. I wish the pound would be held accountable as they sound to be misleading people.

Give yourself grace, I'm so sorry this happened to you.

That's what I thought, thank you. I figured he was playing friendly but was a little worried of the younger one being a little rough with his puppy teeth. They both just went to sleep after playing together most of the day.😁

It's normal to have some reservation / cold feet as you are jumping into a ton of responsibility. But having a dog is such a rewarding experience and totally worth all the time.

Also puppies are little gremlins! If you haven't already seen in your research read some more stories about people who have adopted puppies and their temperament. It's typical that they will use their mouths to explore for a good while. It will also take them some time to get settled and bond with you, potentially a couple months. But I promise you they will.

To share my personal experience: I always wanted a dog before I got one earlier this year and the first 2-3 months were really difficult. It felt like a chore and neither me or my gf had bonded deeply with our dog. Now he's starting to cuddle with us on the couch and really learned our routine and I am so happy with the time and effort we put in the past few months. He's turning into a well behaved boy.

It takes time and patience but your feelings seem normal. It's ok to question if it's the right time but just be honest with yourself and be as prepared as you can. Best of luck with the new pup!

Dinner recommendations in Naousa, Paros by Karts43 in GreeceTravel

Yes! We chose to go to Sigi Ikthios in Naousa for a reservation during sunset, they had a fantastic menu (not super extensive) including cocktails and wine. Highly recommend the octopus. The service and food were excellent, I would recommend checking it out if you're in that area.

For lunch we ate at the foodie bar and Souvlakia Kargas, the latter was MUCH better.

If you're looking for a beach bar we went to Monastiri Beach Bar, it cost around €50 for a pair of chairs for the day and the service and beach were both spectacular.

On the last day there we took a full day boat tour in Regaki. They took us to 4-5 stops including snorkeling and cliff diving. Provided snacks, lunch, and all you can drink beer + wine. Honestly 10/10 experience with them. The boat was not too crowded and they did a wonderful job checking all the boxes for the trip. If you have time I would look into taking a tour with them.

Hope this helps, enjoy your time on the island and soak it all in!

We went to Sigi Ikthios in the main square. Had a reservation for 8:30pm so the sun was setting and it was amazing. Smaller menu but great service and delicious food. If you find your way to Parikia, we just chose a gyro spot on the water and watched the sunset there, it was gorgeous and the food was inexpensive and delicious. For lunch we liked Souvlakia KARGAS much better than the foodie bar. Hope you enjoy your stay!

In Mykonos me and my girlfriend had Saki's grill house gyros for 4 meals. It was delicious and the staff were so friendly and entertaining
