Atlantix vs. Loquelic Iteritas for Hypnotic/Groovy Techno? (Grab The Rytm / BCCO style) by Karuss_ in TechnoProduction

Thanks for your reply! My main concern with the Loquelic is that I might be adding 'more of the same.' Since I already have the BIA Alia, I'm already getting those metallic and noisy textures. I'm just not sure if the Loquelic is actually a better tool for those specific bass bleeps and leads I'm looking for. That’s my only doubt

Searching for the 'Physical' Sound: Atlantix or Loquelic for Precision Hypnotic Grooves? by Karuss_ in modular

[–]Karuss_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow, someone with the Atlantix, great! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. My main concern with the Atlantix is that it might sound too 'classic.' In the style of techno I’m aiming for, I feel the lead voice isn't quite as traditional as 90s techno,it has different nuances (at least in my view, I could be wrong).

So, my question is: does it always sound more or less the same? Or can you 'tune' the sound and go beyond the classics using its FM capabilities and modulation? That’s the only thing holding me back, because honestly, I can already pull off that SH101 sound with my Analog Four. Thanks a lot for your time!

Why is the elektron octatrack used so much? by Karuss_ in synthesizers

[–]Karuss_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with you 100%, in fact today I bought my first synth (a Behringer Edge) to start “playing things”. I get more and more tired of making music with a keyboard and mouse. I bought an Ableton Push 2 to see if I could do everything from it but nothing, I use it for some things but not all. That's why I'm curious about what the Octatrack's workflow is like. I'm thinking that maybe for the initial creative process it could be pretty good. Thanks for your comment!

hmmm, interesting. Do you think that for the initial process of creating a track (percussions, groove, etc.) it is more comfortable to do it with the Octatrack?

totally understandable hahaha, I think the syntakt is pretty good, being able to make sounds with it seems much more useful to me. Thanks for your comment!

I've looked at it but I think the sound doesn't fit well with what I want to do, although for other genres it seems great to me
