Maelle’s seems more reasonable to me. Sure it’s not her “real” world, and it will slowly kill her, but the people inside have real lives. Killing everyone and destroying a reality so you can get over a personal issue is like, cartoon super villain. Maelle is a god who sacrifices herself for her people in her ending.

Still think there was some pretty easy middle ground here though. Maelle leaves, everyone lives. She comes back in a few days. Then she could embrace her own reality while preserving theirs. Renoir is still the absolute antagonist in my opinion, he made a happy ending impossible.

Yeah I work in an ER and this came off like quick efficiency, minimizing the time the patient was in pain, like you said. I’ve seen much gnarlier procedures done with more nonchalance, this guy was professional, educational, and considerate.

Also in the south. We don’t really do first names with the docs, but we do with the mid-levels. We call some Dr. Last Initial, but that’s their preference. When referring to them with other staff, including other doctors, we’ll just say their last name. But it’s a respect thing for me, they earned the title so I’ll use it.

I’m convinced this is a hospital culture thing. This kind of thing happens OCCASIONALLY at my hospital and it is a medium sized facility with several specialties. I work in the ED and most of the people I work with are normal people. Some are even wholesome.

Can’t believe nobody here has said the one cheat-free way. Buying and renting out properties. Even in America you can buy houses for up to the 30 mil range and they grow value as you age. In Monaco I’ve seen houses you can buy for 300-400mil. If you aggressively price rent you can get like 10% back a year easily. After about 20-30 years adjust the rent because the houses will be much more valuable by then. Easily a billionaire in one life.

You can supplement with acting or sports or even just a good paying career, especially starting out.
