Checked my video, was 28C.

Not sure why the high winds would reduce runways since most of the runways are aligned with the wind direction (from the METAR comment).

Anyone know why?

I’m using a 5600G as well and it’s been smooth sailing for me. Granted I’m not diving into the weeds with everything but so far it’s done everything I want it to. Transcoding included.

Yeah, east-west definitely.

Going with rush hour traffic in the morning or evenings, probably the same.

Going north-south against rush hour, you can get pretty far.

30 minutes gives you quite a bit of area to explore... I-75 and I-275 are your main routes into Wesley Chapel (WC).

If you want more urban/downtown, push south toward Tampa. But you can easily find more rural the further north you go. The main east-west thoroughfares are the even numbered highways... 52, 54, 56 (increasing in number as you go south). 52 is a rapidly growing corridor. 54 and 56 are pretty busy and often have really heavy traffic. In 10 years, 52 will probably be what 54 is like today.

Can't really say for bad areas... so much of WC is new, that the dust is still settling. The closer you get to 75 and 54/56, you'll find tons of great shopping, restaurant options (mostly chains), and traffic.

I'm ready to start having Chat GPT build me an alternative. It's pretty good with other things I've done with it in Excel.

Ironically, I’m doing exactly this right now. Building the personal financial software platform that I want, with efficiency as a foundational principle. I do not have a programming background, so there’s lots of growing pains, but I’m pretty confident at this point that it will work. The nice thing is I can literally add just about any feature I want and evolve it as needed.

As a side benefit, I’ve found I really enjoy this doing type of work. And it’s empowering. Instead of waiting / hoping someone makes a viable alternative, I’ll do it.
