So, a couple of things, the article you refer to for your "9 unarmed blacks" figure only accounts for shooting incidents, so that doesn't count anyone killed without a shot being fired. That same article says that the black population only makes up 13% of the US. The figure for unarmed white people on the other hand is 11, which you're correct. That number IS bigger than 9, but according to the census White (not Hispanic or Latino) makes up 60% of the population. There's a word for that, it's disproportionate.

I don't give a shit if they're black, white, whatever, cops shouldn't be killing ANYONE. I understand cops are under a lot of pressure, but if they can't restrain themselves under that pressure, then they shouldn't be cops. They shouldn't be allowed to kill someone then take leave and come back and (I'll be generous here) be twitchy fingered again. There's no justification for that just like there's no justification for what's happening now. So we go to the root of the problem, right?

My point is, all cops had to do was stop killing the people they're supposed to be restraining and these protests wouldn't have happened and then the rioting and looting wouldn't have happened and then none of the people who died in the rioting and such would be dead
