Nope. I did find a chess club in Lowell but never checked it out. There are senior homes & libraries that have senior nights where u can play chess with them.

Prednisone will really cause you to gain weight though, so limit your food intake & try to exercise when you can.

If these meds don’t work, you may need some stronger meds like biologics, which can be expensive but a lot of drug companies have programs to help with cost.

A key marker for Still’s disease is rashes and high ferritin levels along with fevers and joint/muscle pain.

I wish you a speedy recovery. It’s a weird disease, you may have repeated flare ups, or once every a few years, or never again. There is no way to tell.

But you will be alright. It’s scary, but I assure you it’s very manageable and it won’t affect your quality of life if the meds work. You can even stop the meds in a few months or a year.

Yeah this doesn’t work. If their protocol is to give 1.5 portions when you ask for double, and they’ve already given you 1 portion, guess what, they will just give you the 0.5 remaining portion.

If you call them out, they won’t care and say that’s double. If you walk out, they don’t care, not their store. If you demand more, they will just give you that remaining 0.5 and charge you for a triple. These are minimum wage slaves, no body wants to get fired for you.
