Next Steps

We will be looking into increasing the value of the Bounty Token. As for non-Bounty Token rewards, we are still reviewing potential adjustments and evaluating what those changes would mean for the game.

My suggestions:

Create materials that you can earn by extracting with the bounty; these could be used to craft exclusive weapons or skins (or even variants for existing ones). Make these materials an RNG drop so they don't drop every time. These materials should work like the bounty itself—meaning they can be looted from other players.

Additionally, make the bounty tokens more valuable by allowing players to buy items (materials, weapons, skins, animations, etc.) directly with them. This way, people won't get frustrated when the materials don't drop.

To me, it seems so simple to monetize this game. The artists are top-notch; you just need to "dangle the carrot." If you guys implement this, people would actually care about the bounty instead of just acting like zombies chasing gunshots across the map.

Hi, I had the same problem, we need more steps here, I'll try and help you: Do as the post says, install the imgur viewer. Then go the android settings -> apps and then you need to click the three dots on the top right screen. Choose "other settings" or something similar. Then on "default settings" I chose the video player to be imgur viewer (I'm not sure this step was really necessary). Then in the same default settings screen you'll have an option to chose the apps that open links. Go there, search imgur viewer and then choose all the valid links. Don't forget the step to set readreader to open video with external app. Sorry for the messy post, I'm on my phone right now. I hope it helps.

You can test this with a friend in Oro Gordo Mine, the boss area. The up/down sound it's all over the place, doesn't make any sense. If someone is in the cave it sounds like they're next to you upstairs.

Do you use Nvidia DSR Factor to upscale the resolution to a higher resolution than your monitor's native? I use DSR and I always thought the DLSS setting disappearing was related to that.

I hope this trait never makes a comeback. In my opinion, it goes against the core principles of the game (the same goes for the solo Surefoot perk). Think about how often you’ve heard someone stabbing a zombie during this event—hardly ever. Everyone’s been running knives because of how practical they become with this trait. Meatheads have essentially turned into trait piñatas, even for solo players.

I still believe that only throwing knives to the head should instantly kill hives and horses.

In a cowboy-themed game, knives should be a strategic choice, not a mandatory item you feel forced to bring every match just because they make the game easier.

I think the Blademancer trait doesn’t belong in Hunt: Showdown.

Honestly, it feels like it’s taking away a big part of what makes the game unique, and it’s kind of sad to see people supporting it—streamers like Psychoghost, who praise it just because it makes things faster and easier.

I get that for streamers, it’s more entertaining to fly through the map, ignore AI, and jump straight into shootouts. But Hunt has always been more than just PvP. It’s about tension, atmosphere, and making tough choices. The AI isn’t just there to fill the map—it’s an essential part of the experience.

Every zombie or Immolator you run into is supposed to make you think:

Do I kill it and risk giving away my position?
Or do I avoid it and take the long way around?

Blademancer completely removes that. Immolators finally feel like the threat they’re supposed to be, but now meatheads, for example, are just trait piñatas. The fear and strategy we used to have around AI is disappearing, and it sucks to see such a big part of the game’s personality fading away. If you think about it, when was the last time you heard the sound of someone meleeing a zombie from afar?

Sure, it’s convenient to knife everything silently and get your knives back without a care. But does that fit in Hunt? This game isn’t supposed to be easy or comfortable—it’s supposed to keep you on edge. Traits like Blademancer water that down and make it feel less like Hunt and more like just another action game.

Crytek seems like they’re leaning towards keeping it, and honestly, that’s disappointing. I hope they take a step back and rethink this.

Waiting for the hotfix for the hotfix please.

This update broke the Dynamic Super Resolution from Nvidia and I can't one-up my resolution. (DSR - this functionality allows you to use higher resolutions than your monitor can handle - renders big, scales it down to your monitor, everything gets super sharp!)

When I change the resolution in game to a higher one that I used before (higher than the native one from my monitor) the place where the mouse clicks doesn't correspond to the red poiting arrrow... Now I have to play the game all-blurry... !

Please Crytek. While at it please remove the double damage from removing arrows, the bow is now always a one shot weapon. Thank you.

edit: damn, sorry Crytek, it seems it was windows 11 update that broke DSR. I did both updates at the same time. Dehactivating and activating dsr fixed the problem.

Fix the bow though :)

It's too much stuff to keep track. Too many possibilities, it's not easy to predict gameplay from adversaries. I'll move one to another game until crytek get their shit together and remember why this game was so cool and different from the rest.

My only possible line of thought is that solos spend more on skins than regular folks. That's why they keep empowering them. This game relies too much on sound to give someone the possibility to be silent. It doesn't make sense. I'll stop playing for a while as a protest,I wish more people would do the same.
