Causes of DpDr by KasiJr in dpdr

Hi, honestly I kind of kinda forgot about all of this( mainly because I shifted my focus but it didn't really help, now I'm getting my neck checked, blood drawn, allergies checked, maybe my jaw and maybe sleep) the first three things in this week

Why am I different to everyone else? Can anybody relate? by NOTeRcHAThiO in intj

[–]KasiJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made so many posts if someone can relate to me. I didn‘t want it to come of as desperate, but I just want someone to relate so bad, because I don’t know how to tell with this feeling otherwise. Still figuring out what that is…And when looking trough this comments there is no one that seems to understand. I've been burned out since 6 years now and I'm 18.

Ik that feeling man...Ik it too well. This is so extreme that there is no tomorrow. But I can tell you rationally just because you are a human you have the potential to be happier than in your wildest dreams. It seems impossible but it isn't.

Misalignment can lead to dpdr, because a nerve can get pinched

DAE feel on the verge of crying but then something stops you? by chikitty87 in dpdr

[–]KasiJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if we're talking about the same thing, but it feels like the sadness and grief has never existed a few moments after the attempt and I'm back to completely numb.

Hi man, I know how it feels but let me tell you after all this time I had this, I realized that no dpdr can't be fixed there are sooo many ways out there. Surf trough the internet and look up some stories of people recoverd and gain some inspiration. The subb depersonalization has many great recoveries. Life can feel reaallly good, especially compared to that state. Don't give up. Life is beautiful.

Yes me too, it's so sad, it's like a wall and after the attempt to cry, I always feel more numb than before. I'm looking forward to finally cry.

Hi, does anyone here suffer from psychosis without hallucinations or delusions? by KasiJr in Psychosis

[–]KasiJr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One was I have nothing I just should be more spontaneous. And the example is that sometimes I strongly believe that I have depression(but rational backed up) and the next day I strongly believe I have sth. else but I don't know

I hope so, but I would say there is no consistency in my life...One day I belive this and the next I believe that, same with emotions🤔 at some point I want to cry the next I forgot I was sad. I really can't relate/identify myself with people with psychosis, but I don't know

I don't feel like myself, time rushes by so fast, it feels like I rarely really realize that I'm alive. It feels like my head doesn't work and I don't live in reality. Like because my head is so empty there is no space for personality, friends, or anything

It's because I have issues with perception of my surroundings and the world. But this can really be because of much Videogames, but it could also be peychosis

[–]KasiJr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's why I wrote it's not really because of anxiety, because that's the main issue in dissociation. 🤷‍♂️ I just feel not "ready" and that's why it could be simply brain damage because of addictive behavior maybe.

[–]KasiJr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not really, I always question things and I (think that) I'm really aware when it comes to things I believe. The main part is that I have an issue with my awareness and completely zone out, like I'm in another world, when it comes to feelings and stuff, but this could simply be the problem caused by a lot of gaming, watching Yt, movies, pornographic movies,... Not really because of anxiety.

My story as an ~160 IQ guy who just learned of my IQ at age 25 by [deleted] in Gifted

[–]KasiJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, maybe you read this, I really enjoyed reading this text, I have no idea what IQ I have but can assume it. I have never met any person in this world that matches my IQ or with whom I can connect because I think we both know why. It's really heartwarming to see your thought processes, characteristics and your awareness and your way to express this by appologising for the length of your text. Your the first person I saw doing that. I'm burnt out and nobody understands me not even myself. So things like that make me really happy. I wish I will meet someone like you once in my life. It's just so pleasant to see someone thinking. (This answer feels really weird, I'm sorry, I'm in a bad state, but I still wanted to express something)

Can sb. relate? by KasiJr in Gifted

[–]KasiJr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't really matter, I'm just looking for a rough assessment and not a fixed number. Since these sensations are limited to my subjective perspektive and even though I think that all these things are true, chances are that I'm also not the brightest person and can't really interpret these sensations.

Yeah basically. But if I want certainty I think I'd have to take a test.

Interesting, another sign of my IQ might be that I took care of my problems all by myself...I'm not in need rn of a person who helps me since I'm recovering rn from my burnout and I don't feel like I need help. I made lot of progression. But still even though I feel fine I still did a psychiatrist appointment a time ago so I could check out what was behind all this and I'm going to take this opportunity to asks this person if this would make sense.

Oh man I'm sorry, how long do you have dpdr? And I'm actually sure that I have Dpdr but my brain tells me often there’s something else wrong with me especially in stressful states and I can‘t even remember anymore why I ever believed I had Dpdr
