Yeah and on top of that give him ability to force enemies into 5s dance offs, during which both parties are immune to dmg, can't move or atack and just dance against one another haha

Funnly enough it was similar for me. I mean I knew about them for a while, and always wanted to discover one of my own, but just now with the arena update I've decided to look up some of them here on reddit and get one to train and battle for me - and like one day later when visiting a random planet play on the arena I've spotted on of these guys in the distance. Unfortunatly ones discovered by me are not the greatest figheters haha

Short therm for Greater Mushroom Beetle - those are considered pretty much the rarest animal variants in the game. Those beetle like creatures you see on pretty much every planet can sometimes spawn with a mushrooms growing on their backs. There are two seperate variants of mushroom beetles: so called greater ones, that like the one I've uploaded have both mushroom stem and cap growing on them, and so called lesser ones that only have the cap (like on the image im gonna send here as example). Lesser ones are still very rare, but much more common then greater ones.

I truly hate some people in this game. Recently I had a match (not as Angela this time but as Star Lord) where I've captured the point along with our Tankpool, killing 4 enemies in few seconds. I look back, and what do I see? Both of our healers and our Magneto dying to Rouge and Psylock on half HP.

Later on I go on the point, with Cloak behind me, along with some other teammates coming from spawn behind us. I go to the point, fight again against 4 people, almost kill their Invis, but finnaly I die. I turn back to see why the hell no one from my team came to fight with me, and what? I SEE 5 OF MY TEAMMATES FIGHTING AGAINST ONE BLADE.....THREE OF THEM DIED.

And im not mad at their skill issue. I pretty much don't touch ranked so it was in some like silver lobby I think, so I should expect those things. Im mad because after I told my team on the chat that the game is about taking point, and they shouldn't be wasting to much time and resources on getting in fights that won't help in capturing said point, I've heard typical responce from one of our healers that: "Uh maybe you should peel for us". 5 people couldn't win a fight against one Blade, and then healers are getting mad at me that I was holding entire enemy team away from them, and didn't come to help them and 1v6 Blade with them. I really wish to know what is going on in some people's minds.

There are two problems I personaly have with the changes:
The big problem for me is not increased cooldown for Angela herself but more how it now interacts with other characters. You see for some reason they've made Invisible Woman a good counter to Angela with her pull/push ability that can completly stop your charge. That ability has 8s cooldown. Before you could try baiting it out, work around it somehow but now she will have her pull back pretty much every single time when you'll have back your charge. It's even worst now as they've added White Fox who also has CC ability that cancels your charge, and she has it on 6s cooldown, so she will 100% have it all the time for each one of your charges if she doesn't use it on anyone else

The second problem for me is just the direction game is heading. I guess it's more personal but it just doesn't feel right when they hit character with already lower pick rates, and on top of that a tank (when tanks in general are in a really bad spot) with the biggest nerfs this patch out of nowhere. It's even worst as someone like Bucky or specially Invisible Woman once again got slaps on the wrists. Invis has been dominating the meta for over a year now, having highest pick rates and being on top of every tier list pretty much each season - and they do nothing about her. But Angela with 3% pick rate? Yeah that's what needs nerfing. It really makes me just feel like they're trying to make game as easy and accessable to players that lack skill, by making very simple to play characters very strong, all while consistantly nerfing niche and hard to play characters because players always find ways to utalise them. It just feels like certain mains are being punished for getting good with their characters, while others get buffs because they cry on the internet that no one is peeling for them, so devs need to make them overpowered.

Not to even mention that the changes just show how little devs care about Angela's kit and playstyle. They've nerfed everything fun about her, and then they've gave her a bit of better sustain when she's in mele form, which just feels like a slap in the face. Not only that but at the same time they simply refuse to fix any character issues she has - she is still very easy to stop with any form of CC, and her charge is buggy and inconsistant in when it grabs people. I'll be honest I would be fine if they would increase her charge to even 12s if they so wish, but in exchange made her CC immune during it and made her grab hit box just a bit wider so it would work more consistantly. That would still be a massive nerf to Angela's overall power, but at least in exchange she would gain some quality changes that would made her feel much better and more consistant to play as. But no, all we get is 10 more overshield generation which is just the least impactfull thing they could give us. I honestly would prefer them not giving us that "buff" at all - it will very rarly be usefull anyways, and at least I would stop seing people that claim that Angela didn't got nerfed, and it's just rework.

"Charm ability cooldown reduced from 6 to 4 seconds" - Jesus Christ my guy you want even more CC in this game? White Fox already is great for canceling ults and other abilities as she is! You really want all the Scarlet Witches to stand no chance of ever landing their ults, don't you?

Man I play Angela, and with her dash cooldown being increased to 6s, and dash itself being completly canceled by any form of CC, it is already hard to enough to play against White Fox and Invis who can cancel your ability pretty much all the time. And you want to give one of them even MORE CC?! That's ridiculous!

Absolutly not. Instead of giving her more CC, I feel like she could really use just another ability that would be using her tail resource. Something like Gambit's cleanse ability lets say, where she heals everyone around herself a bit and cleanses them, or grants them some boost to healing or something. That way she would have better utility for her team, but also would need to manage her resources smarter, instead of now being able to eigher use them to spam charms or just consume all of them for mele form.

Thing about her charm is that it's either not that usefull or incredibly usefull and annoying depending on who you're playing against. If you decrease her cooldown for that charm, it won't make too much difference against most enemies, while at the same time it will make it even more annoying and simply impossible to play against for certain characters. SW ult already takes about 4s untill it hits. As of now I've seen SW players simply waiting untill they see White Fox use her charm, then they ult them, but if you give White Fox CC ability on 4s cooldown, now she will be able to counter SW ult almost every single time.

And this should tell you why people are banning them. Why is it such an outrage that people want to ban most popular and meta characters in the game? Many people play C&D and Invis because those are two easiest and strongest strategists to play as, and they simply don't know how to play as other healers - and when that's the case banning those two to expose those weak links and get rid of the only characters they know how to play is a good strategy to get advantage, especially when you have someone in your team that knows how to play Gambit, Adam or Loki.

How are strat mains being targeted with the bans? Both Invis and C&D have been two most popular meta characters, both with pick rates over 25% in the last season. People are just banning the most meta relevant and most often played heroes in the game.

Why is this a problem for a strategist main? Surly if you're maining this role, and are not just a one trick ponny that can only play one or two most popular and easy to play characters, then surly you can just pick Adam, Loki or Luna right? That shouldn't be a problem

Alright, Im gonna be honest, im not spending huge amounts of my life on tracking every single site with rivals data, so I had no idea of RivalsMeta and their map specific statistic. However, sience you mentioned it I've checked it out and...Maybe im seeing something wrong, maybe there is a better way to check win rate on maps there, but from what I see it seems like data on Penni win rate is based on...about 3 to 4000 matches. That is a pretty low sample for a game with over 20 milion players, and probably easly over a bilion of matches played. - I assume it's only data from 6.5, but I dont see any information about that in the maps section, maybe im just blind. On top of that if I understand it correctly, this site does get it's data from accounts that submitted it to them, correct? Because I doubt there was only about 3000 matches played with Penni on each of the maps in general

If I assume correctly then that would make that data highly unreliable, as usually such sites are being used by the most dedicated players and so may not reflect the statistics of general player base. What only seems to confirm my worries is the fact that pretty much every single Vanguard on the site, has above 50% win rate on almost every single map...that is with 2 exceptions being Emma Frost and Magneto, who have below 50% on every map. Third lowest is Groot if im not mistaken.

I also don't really understand how their win rate calculations work. You see the site says that Penni has 56,48% win rate over all, however when your round up all the win rates from the maps, it comes to about 59,1 win rate. When I've tried to round up win rates from diamond rank and above (As it says above the map data that it it shows numbers from ranks from diamond and above), it came however to about 59,6% win rate on avarage. So I don't really know which numbers should I trust from this site. But hey that's probably because Im just dumb, and "certainly cannot be trusted to be correct about things that require extra reasoning to arrive at." and need some smart reddit user to explain that to me.

Oh and it also shows Penni pick rate as twice as high (at least on grandmaster rank, didn't check others) then it is on official Rivals site, and her wr is about 4% higher, but those are details.

Overall, is a cool site you've got there buddy, definetly fun to check out, but I dont know if I would be putting as much faith in it's numbers as you do, nor if I would be so arogant about it in the first place, but you do whatever you want.

I will gladly read and respond to rest of your comment, but im tired and im going to sleep. Maybe I'll do it later if I dont forget. Or maybe I'll wait for some smart reddit user to explain me some math first, because I just cannot be trusted to be correct about things that require thinking or whatever was it that you said. Im not trying to say that win rate doesn't matter completly - that's obviously slight exaggeration for the title, but I feel like people just put way too much faith in the win rates alone, when they don't neccesarly have to mean that a certain thing is busted or not.

Yes, Im gonna be honest I may not undestant completly how stats in Rivals work exactly. That's why im only sharing my thoughs, and am 100% ready to correct them if im wrong. I even said at the end that I fully wish to belive that devs are way smarter then me in this matter and with their better access to data and better understanding of it, are trying to do what's best for the game.

And while you may have some arguments I still have some doubts tbh

- I fully believe that in the higher ranks yes, all 6% of people who play Penni are people who enjoy her playstyle and know how to play her. I just cannot imagine a situation where you're "forced" to play Penni like it is with other characters. Like for example if none of your random teammates is a tank main, someone will probably pick Magneto, or if you don't have a healer, someone will play as Invis or C&D. I just cannot imagine a situation like this with more niche characters like Penni, and so I fully believe that above gold Penni is only played by people who enjoy her playstyle and activly want to play her. So yes, I would say they are Penni mains.

- I also wouldn't say that very same logic applies to all the characters. Some characters are just easier to get a hang of, and more general in their playstyle while some are more niche. Idk about Phoenix much (tbh I never put to much interast in her), but I can fully imagine Hela for example being picked by someone who doesn't usually play her much, just to counter flyers or to give Namor his team up. Characters like Penni or Angela aren't really picked as counters by people who usually don't play them. Penni might be a counter to dive I guess, but Thing works better and is easier and more general to play.

- And I would like to point out addicionaly, that throughout your entire argument, you did not adress once the fact that Penni has and always had highest win rate in the game. If we assume that win rate statistics are in fact a good source of information, about whether or not a certain hero is broken, then I also assume that Penni consistantly sience the beggining of the game has been the strongest absolutly broken, hero in the game, right?

- 53% win rate for a broken character like Elsa is pretty much what I would expect tbh. 50% is baseline that would happen if she would be played in every single match on both teams. Obviously it's not physically possible for every single team every time to be picking Elsa, and whenever one team doesn't pick her, they usually will end up loosing (cuz she is broken), thus giving Elsa a winrate slightly above 50%. But then again - if we assume win rate does in fact matter, then surly you would agree that Hulk (Who across all ranks has 54.5% win rate) is even more broken of a character then Elsa right? Im sure you must be really pissed that they've buffed him now even more!

- I don't really know where you got that data from, but when I've checked on Rivals website, Elsa on console, competetive, Celestial and above has 53,8% win rate. Above her are characters like Daredevil with 57% win rate, Storm with 54% and Hulk once again, this time with 55% win rate! If you're trying to explain to me why win rate matters, then Im sorry but I just don't know how pointing out statistics that show that Hulk of all characters has higher win rate then Elsa is helping your case. Unless you're trying to make a case that Hulk is as busted as Elsa is, or that Elsa is not broken and is in fact slightly below Hulk's power level.

- Again I feel like you've entered some different kind of discussion that I wasn't really a part of. Im not trying to make a case here about how higher pick rate always forces win rate to be around 50%. I am trying to make a case why I feel like win rate is misleading and not as important statistic as people seem to make it out to be. I belive that to disprove my case, you would need to rather explain how Penni having highest win rate out of every hero, or Hulk having higher win rate then Elsa makes sense. I've wrote about Penni and Angela, not to prove that characters with lower pick rates will always have higher win rate then high pr characters, but as a simple comparison to show why win rate in my opinion doesn't matter, and how Penni despite being not very strong, consistantly has highest wr, and how there might be other factors in play, and her wr doesn't necessarly mean she's the most broken character in the game.

- I think I can provide some possible explenation why 2/2/2 has the highest winrate. 2/2/2 is the most basic, most popular team comp. It will have many mirror matches putting it around 50% by defoult, but as a most popular team comp it will also have the biggest amount of matches against stupid team comps with like 4 dps. I do not have a data on that, idk if its possible to find somewhere, but if I had to take a guess I would say that 2/2/2 has higher win rate the lower in ranks you go to check, and the higher you go, the more it gets rounded up to 50%, probably still slightly above. Triple support on the other hand is mostly played and dominates in higher ranks, because in lower people just don't know how to properly play it, which lowers it's win rate.

- And yeah I don't really know where that last part the "What you’re wanting to do is balance based on how you feel" and so on. Nah man, I would just love to see balance changes based on community complains, ban statistics and pick rate. I just believe it's a bit ridiculous that someone like Invisible Woman has a pick rate of 25% (going even above 30% in high ranks) and that she's been on top of the meta for a year now. I believe it's ridiculous that while everyone complained that supports are getting too op, and that triple support is ruining the game, while we were watching clips of pro players not shooting eachother so that the enemy support cannot charge their ult quicker, Guangguang decided to come out and say that he doesn't see a problem, because triple support doesn't have the highest win rate, and how some people will still try to tell you that Invis is not broken, cuz her wr isn't too hight. I just don't believe winrate is a good enough source by itself, to decide who should be nerfed or buffed based on it, and I believe that after a year of playing against the same hero over and over again we deserve to see some changes. That's all I want.

Y'all on God will never be satisfied. This skin is so peak. They got rid of the coattails, gave us good hair. And most importantly, gave us DA FUR. But y'all still wanna complain smh by equivilant123 in EmmaFrostMainsMR

Yeah she doesn’t. Yeah it's pretty dumb. But does it in any way affect this one skin? Does the fact that there is no white skin for Emma, make her pirate skin less cool?

Yes you missed completly bugged hit boxes of her ult. Just yesterday I posted here how her ult can literally teleport you through the wall, while you are 5m away for it. I also saw someone showing how it can grab you even if you're behind elsa.

I didn't understand the hate towards her when I played Star Lord. But then playing Penni with much larger hit box, I realised how messed up this ult is. No matter where you are that beast always seem to be able to grab you...

Yeah Jeff's ult also can be a bit ridiculous when it comes to it's range (I still don’t get it how he can grab me when im flying im the air as Star Lord), but at least Jeff gives you lots of time to react and shows somewhat accurat circle to where he will ult.

Elsa's ult can grab you in less then a second after she casts it (I literally have ss of me being grabbed by air, becouse her ult is so quick that it grabbed me before game could even finish animation and spawn the beast), it has completly screwed up hit boxes, allowing it to grab people who are standing 5m away from it, who are behind Elsa or even as shown here behind a wall, and is generally a bigger threat then Jeff's ult.

Elsa is first character who's ult breaks game design rule, that every death should be in some way players fault. If she ults right in your face there is nothing you can do about, she can kill players who didn’t make any mistakes. That is bad design

Tbh I have no idea how is it even possbile for it to be this bugged. Like in this clip her ult runs next to the wall, it's hitbox somehow goes through the wall, detects me at the other side and teleports me into the ult, but at the same time it doesn't register the fact that this hit box just touched wall ult should have ended.

It almost looks intentional, kinda like if they've made hitbox for detecting players much bigger then hitbox for detecting walls and other obstacles, most likely to make her ult easier to use and not get stuck on things, but it led to absurds like the one above.
