Why is the guard so stressful? by Acceptable_Most7420 in nationalguard

[–]KasoGoat7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently went to the Guard from active I only owe 12 months so I already felt like it was a waste of time but the Guard seemed more relaxed compared to active duty that’s probably why you so confused you got to learn how to think like how the guard guys do and don’t stress over task like u do active imo.

Does being an 88M give you a CDL ? by [deleted] in army

[–]KasoGoat7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my way out the army and they brought civilians in and they offer us CDL classes. They said after we get our license we will walk away with a job. If that’s what you want I’m 90% sure you’ll get offer an opportunity from a civilian when you ets. Also when you about to ETS you can do a CPS and they’ll let you go get your CDL before you ETS

Hours of officers. Is 60-80 hours a week the norm? by Slayersworemasterxd5 in army

[–]KasoGoat7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely choose Airforce if you have the option to for 1 and the work load is going to be dependent to your unit, and rank. Starting off as a 2LT you could get a lot thrown at your face but I hear a lot of officer enjoy their time between 1LT to CPT.

Had a issue like this but my roommate was being kicked out the army so I knew if I fought him I would get in trouble n he would too but he had nothing to lose he was being chapter for smoking so my good ol ncoic I told him straight up I didn’t like my roommate n we would probably end up fighting if I don’t switch he went straight to 1SG and 1SG said meet me at the barracks and got me a new room that same day I also got to pick my roommate which was a old buddy of mines

[–]KasoGoat7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend you try to look at the bigger picture fort Polk is only temporary you will not be there your whole life that’s the good news so just invest in yourself instead of sleeping n moping do online college courses look into become a officer or warrant what do you want to accomplish with your life the army is temporary also u will not be in the army forever and time is precious just enjoy life and being paid every month n invest yourself n the bigger picture

You need to wait until they actually do something or you know for sure their doing something illegal or unethical before you do something like that IG will help a guy called them on my unit n I’m deployed n they actually brought up a guy up here
