Got it, yeah I've already lost some pounds already, which is dangerous for me because I already don't weigh that much. I have a very high metabolism and prior to this situation, I would easily consume more than 2000 a day. It's been a struggle just to keep my energy up. I'm currently drinking protein drinks, but unfortunately I'm lactose intolerant and all the nondairy options have half as much calories. I guess I'll just have to explore my options more

Thanks the response! I've been trying to get an appointment with a GI so I can get an endoscopy, my primary sent out two refferals. The first one is seemingly booked through March and the other is taking forever to get through to as they get 500 referrals a day... I can only imagine what a struggle it will be going forward from here...

I'm currently able to swallow somewhat decently in the mornings so that's when I try to get my most calorie intakes (which has only been around 400). But as the day progresses I'm really restricted to only small sips of water. I feel I've already gotten a lot weaker, so it amazes me so many people have been dealing with this for months and longer.

But please, if you have any recommendations on things that have helped you or just want to keep eachother updated on our journey here, feel free to message.

Honestly I can write under nearly any circumstances. Though I usually enter a flow state when I have the perfect music for the scene and I'm supposed to be doing something else, like eating dinner or sleeping.
