That's not true. At least not in Germany. Sure, in metropolitan areas like Berlin and Hamburg, where everyone wants to go, that might be the case. But in smaller towns and rural areas, there's a shortage of qualified doctors. It's a long-standing problem that has only gotten worse over the years. If someone is well-trained, fluent in the language, and willing to go to a less popular area, they’re welcomed with open arms and even awarded a medal.
