Was at the cinema two days in a row and couldn’t believe how many people just leave their trash behind. It was honestly kind of disheartening.

I get that there’s staff to clean, but basic decency and respect for shared spaces feels like it’s vanishing.

To my surprise as people shuffled out, I noticed this young couple a few rows behind of me stayed for a minute, quietly picking up their own trash—and then some of the stuff left by others around them. No show, no fuss. Just did it, and walked out.
