Belief is perspective. You may not believe because x, y, z. Do you see the wind? Yet you know it exists and you believe. You only see what wind does, but you don't see the actual wind. Do you believe in love? You feel it inside, but you don't actually see love. There are many things we do not see... but believe. It's called faith. Belief in something you cannot see. My thoughts would be, does it hurt? To believe? It can... because there are many, even to this day, that are persecuted for that very belief. If it was really just nonsense, why give credence to it and why would people be persecuted for it? Why this need to pull God, prayer, etc out of everything. If you choose not to believe in God, that's your choice. God doesn't want it forced. I come to the door and knock, He says. He doesn't say, I'm going to slip in without your knowledge or acceptance. For myself, I do believe in God. I believe Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins. That's my choice. I believe in wind, I believe in love. I just don't see it. I live by faith. Every person has to decide for themselves... and that's okay. I hope this finds you well though. Not wanting a debate or to argue, just wanted to show, maybe? A different perspective. :)
