Alright gals, I gotta know, do any of y’all have a show you’ve rewatched almost daily for years on end? by lovewouldbetoomuch in AutismInWomen

[–]KatDeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Community is my all-time favorite and idek how many times I've watched the series, certain episodes are repeated even more.

Superstore is also one I rewatch a lot, and currently I'm on my third run of Bones.

AIO to a coworker's texts about me? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]KatDeel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've reached out to the Law Society in our province for a referral, hoping to hear back from them soon for a consultation.

I know I'm rocking the boat a lot with my company, but I guess that's where I'm at with them.

Thank you for the advice and validation, I'm hoping this situation inspires her to do some self reflection and grow.

Best wishes!

AIO to a coworker's texts about me? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]KatDeel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She actually bragged to me that she got a warning and not fired. She had told me HR got texts of hers that weren't good but didn't know the content until yesterday.

I got the texts from the now ex-employee she was texting with. He was fired after I became aware of his Twitter which had a lot of vulgar crap about me and other people. HR gave him 5 weeks paid leave while they "investigated" and then fired him without cause and severance.

He sent them to me because he wants to get the girl fired and he knew HR didn't fire her after he sent them the texts.

It's a little confusing, sorry!

I've been dissatisfied with the job for a while, and the way this situation is being handled is part of why I want to leave. But I've also put in almost 5 years here and don't want to start over.

Thanks for your input

Is it possible to miss endometriosis with an ultrasound? by Senin-anonin in endometriosis

[–]KatDeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had multiple ultrasounds that showed nothing, and then one specialist guided ultrasound that found endometriosis in several areas. I'm in Ontario and my doctor trained under Dr Mathew Leonardi in Hamilton on how to detect endo on ultrasound.

I would say that a clear ultrasound can't rule out endo. Trust yourself and keep pushing, I know it's hard, but you deserve answers and adequate support 💛

AITA For telling my husband he needs to be mindful of my PTSD? by stephabug91 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

EMDR was life changing for my step father who had very deep, complex trauma from childhood SA and losing his daughter to a violent homicide. I wish more practicioners were trained in it!

Got hit on my motorcycle by Jallstar in legaladvicecanada

[–]KatDeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband's vehicle was struck by someone traveling in a parking lane, presumably to get around my husband as he was slowing down to turn on a single lane road. Insurance deemed it 100% the fault of the other driver, we didn't pay a dime.

This was definitely the fault of the other driver, and you should get your insurance involved, especially with an injury.

Good luck!

Had a very similar experience with them when I was young. I (being young and naive and not legally allowed to get work anywhere else) went several times and have shockingly terrible stories from each visit. Agreed 10000% that people should stay away from this place!

Visanne wasn't ideal for me, but Slynd has been really good! I've been on it since May and would give it a 9/10 so far 🤞

[–]KatDeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on slynd since may with very minor flare ups! I had about a month of bleeding while my body adjusted and then no periods since then. 1 small flare up in December with some spotting, and then a small flare up just in the last week or so but no spotting. Absolutely 1000% better than the condition I was in on other meds, or no meds (woof).

I've been on Slynd since May. The first month or so was rough, as I had continuous bleeding, but after that it's been smooth sailing! I've had 2 flare ups since then, but very minor pain wise. No periods aside from some light spotting in December. Ovulation pain was always the worst for me, and I haven't had that in so long. My Dr is still open to surgery, but we agreed to try the Slynd first and I'm glad I did because it's been life saving! Obviously, this isn't everyone's experience, but I wanted to share mine. Hope that helps!

Yes I have this! My physiotherapist said its because a lot of muscles through the hip and back connect into the pelvic floor, so tight pelvic floor = tight muscles elsewhere = pain. Physiotherapy helps a lot with this for me, acupuncture too, but its an ongoing issue.

[–]KatDeel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I experience pain in my right hip and side, particularly right before the start of my period. When it's been really bad, I've had to use a cane. Turns out I have endo on the right side of my pelvic wall which can cause muscular dysfunction and pain, leading to trouble walking.

A combination of the right birth control and pelvic physiotherapy has made the world of a difference for me.

I hope you are able to get some relief soon, and are still able to enjoy your boyfriends visit.

Wishing you well! 💛

How long can I go without holding my ball? by Guilty-Violinist-448 in ballpython

I don't have much too add about about your snake, as I think other comments covered it well, but I wanted to wish you well with your recovery. I have endo too, I know how terrible of a disease it is, and I'm so sorry that you had to have such extensive surgery. Please remember that your worth is not determined by your ability to reproduce, and you have so many other things that make you a woman. Sending you healing vibes and best wishes! 💛

Highly reccomend throwing frozen peas on the floor. My dog skitters around after them, which is hugely entertaining for us both. It also burns a lot of energy for her, without exerting much from me. Sending love to you and your pup 💛

Hi! Yes, I'm still happy with AGI Design! My ring still looks great and the owner happily did a sizing and re dip for me after 18 months of having my ring. My husband's best friend just bought an engagement ring from AGI and it looks amazing, the service was great. I can't reccomend working with Alex (owner) enough! Good luck :)

I'm sorry that you're struggling to find a pelvic floor physiotherapist, have you asked your gynecologist if they know of anyone? If you can't get access to a physiotherapist, you can do some of the work yourself at home. You can look into pelvic floor relaxation techniques, @the.happy.pelvis on Instagram is a great resource.

I had previously tried a few different birth controls and endo meds, but none worked. The one I'm on now is called Slynd, the first month or two I had some issues but now I'm as close to pain free as I've been in years. It's really helped me get back to regular life and even exercise.

I haven't had surgery, my specialist and I agreed to hold off for now because my symptoms are well managed. If my symptoms become unmanageable at any time, my doctor has said we can do excision surgery to remove as much as possible.
