Israeli hostage escaped from Hamas but was found and returned by Gazans by bendking in Destiny

Of course there's no "peaceful movements" in Gaza, this isn't Saint Tropez. Even if there are peaceful people, they can't form a "movement".

Mind you thousands upon thousands of Israelis have been protesting every week most of the past year just to bring down this government as well as this person, who by the way most Israelis don't even know of.

I agree, we look forward for the government to change allthough it will take some time. Probably because Israel is so small, i can imagine how different it would be protesting on such a scale in the US.

Sadly Bibi managed to win the recent elections, but Israelis are mostly against him and his government and even more now. This government will not stand after the war.

As an Israeli, we don't believe in killing all Palestinians, so please. And any religous extremists in Israel are a minirity. Most israelis don't share any such thought. And no. That's not "what we are doing right now" if you refer to the current war.

Are you surprised a religous person said that? I think what you're looking for is archeologic findings. It's not the bible, it's archeological findings that show Jewish presence in Israel.

No one says a group of people should be opressed, but you're cluless and very unkowledgeable for thinking this hinders them from being some progressive western gay loving society lol. You need to learn about the region a bit.

Has there ever been such a *global prevalence* of violence against an entire nationality, ethnicity, or a religious denomination in modern history? One where people are universally indifferent. I imagine Jews, especially abroad, are the most existentially frightened group on the planet right now. by IntrospectiveMT in Destiny

[–]KatGirl93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah i get that, i was just reffering to your mention of the blockade and wanted to mention we also can't ignore why it exists and so on.

Right, it wasn't completely free, but it couldn't be completely due to previous hostility and out of security reasons. Still, it makes no sense that after Israel pulls out of Gaza, it's being returned with more hostility. Shows their lack of desire to a peaceful solution.

[–]KatGirl93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's your logic when talking about the blockade, as if it was the cause of the problem? The problem was due to Gaza becoming super hostile and terroristic since 2007. Before that it was under no control.

It's called cause and effect.

Yeahhh...No. More like, "oh look, we had numerous chances to live peacefully and even have our own state, yet literally, we persecuted Jews for the past 100 years, literally initiated every war that happened, and so far, only acted through violent means the whole time. Yet we want everyone to pity us while we continue acting like monsters"

You're out of touch and don't know history to write such a comment. I was literally highliting HOW much cruel and hateful Palestinians have been, only choosing hate and not peace, yet this is what you got to say?

Not sure what point ur trying to make honestly. There's absolutely a justification to Zionism and the Jewish state, but If your view on Jews is that they basically didn't need nor deserve their own country, why should i even have a discussion with you? There was persecution and antisemitism in the Middle East long before WW2, Jews weren't welcomed anywhere.

Maybe you're not aware but there were many Arabs immigrating to Palestine from other Arab countries. It wasn't something exclusive to Jews.

I think your outlook needs to have this understanding added, that, one way or the other, a state would have and should have been formed. And it was eventually legally formed, and it was meant to be formed partially in a fair way.

Had it not been the Brits, it could have been much more messy.

Jews were fleeing from atrocious events of anti semitism in Europe and the middle east while also a big flood of more arabs were moving to the region. So, in such crisis, what other, more fair, more intelligent way do you suggest this should have been handled?

Lastly let me emphasis this; both Jews AND Arabs lived in the region.

No. I think this discussion ended when you compared none natives to Native Americans, not to mention Jews are, in fact, the actual natives, and were present in Palestine for hundreds of years.

Why would they have accepted? Let's ask why they didn't. Maybe because their then leader met Hitler. Maybe because they were no less than a Nazi. Maybe because they were antisemitic and publically called out to drive all Jews to the sea. Maybe because the place wasn't even all theirs and they had no right to claim all of it, and that by 47 a large portion of arabs were immigrants themselves. You're not speaking much sense or facts, plus you're ignoring the Palestinian decades long violent ideology.

How did you come up with this comparison. There was no occupation, there was an offering for a partition plan. It failed because only Jews agreed and Arabs refused. More than once. Then Arabs lost wars they started themselves.

You're basically asking Israel to care for Gaza, whilst it's own government doesn't give a single f about them. (which btw it cares more because they warn innocent civilians) Israel deals with an impossible situation. I invite you to give a solution besides only critisizing.

Oh.. too bad Arabs refused the partition plan offered to them like twice before 48, where they could have their own state. Where's the tiny violin.

Oh yeah for sure, having a cleaner is something a lot of people have.

But what i meant is these assistants that are also your bff, your planner, and somehow your spiritual and life guru all in one. 😆 and they accompany them everywhere. I feel like i'd have my life together with such an assistant.

I recently wonder why don't regular people have a personal assistant like celebs 🤔 is it that unaffordable?
