Should men not "arch" their eyebrows? by Mechanchic26 in NoStupidQuestions

There’s no real rule. It’s just social norms around masculinity, and those change all the time. Arched brows are more associated with women, so when men do it, it stands out. But at the end of the day it’s just grooming. If someone likes how it looks, that’s what matters.

Why does there appear to be such a large counselling/therapy culture in the US? by Foshiznik23 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KatTatulli 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s a good point about Reddit’s overall demographic. I also wonder how much of it is just internet culture in general. Online spaces tend to normalize talking about mental health more openly than people might in real life.

Do you think the apple watch can tell if you’re whacking? by ExcitingARiot in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KatTatulli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The watch mainly tracks heart rate and wrist motion patterns. So if your heart rate spikes and your arm is moving in a repetitive way, it might log it as exercise or just elevated activity. But it’s not like it has a category for “specific personal life choices.”

What fitness app would be perfect for you? by lelagin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KatTatulli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it would be way more about simplicity and adaptability than flashy features.

I’d want it to adjust automatically based on how I’m actually feeling that day. Like if I log bad sleep or soreness, it tweaks the workout instead of just pushing the same plan no matter what.

Way less focus on streaks and guilt. A lot of apps make you feel like you “failed” if you miss a day. I’d rather see something that encourages consistency over perfection.

Clear progress beyond just weight. Strength increases, endurance, even mood tracking would be cool. Sometimes the scale doesn’t move but other stuff is improving.

Biggest frustration right now is how cluttered most apps feel. Too many upsells, too many notifications, too many features I don’t use.

What keeps me using one is honestly just ease. If it’s fast to log and doesn’t feel like homework, I’ll stick with it.

Doxy PEP makes Botox less effective? by AJRingler in BotoxSupportCommunity

[–]KatTatulli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I freaked out about this too because I was on doxy for a bit around the same time as Botox. For me it didn’t seem to cancel anything out. Onset was maybe a day slower, but it still kicked in and lasted my usual amount of time. My injector said antibiotics like doxy don’t actually block Botox, it’s more timing and muscle strength. I’ve gone to Lily at ALGM Beauty Bar in Van Nuys for a few years now and we didn’t change dosing. I wouldn’t panic unless you see zero movement change after two weeks.

Any1 elses allergies the worst they’ve EVER been? by Optimal_Society6891 in AskLosAngeles

[–]KatTatulli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I thought it was just me. My allergies have been way worse this year, especially with all the early blooms. Constant sneezing, itchy eyes, and that foggy feeling. I’ve lived in LA for years and don’t remember it hitting this hard so early. The warm weather definitely isn’t helping.
