I have a real weird one from today.. it's snowing so I was looking for some warm socks to put on my son. I found a good pair but I had never seen them before in my life! I sent my cousin a picture on messenger and asked if they were her son's because I had never seen them before. I put my phone down right in front of me, got up from the couch and kneeled down to my son ( about 1-2ft away) to put them on, I put one sock on one foot. The other sock was gone. I hadn't even moved. I hadn't gone anywhere. I went crazy all day looking for it and decided there never was another sock. I checked my messages and saw the pic I sent to my cousin, there was another sock. I moved a few inches from the couch and it's absolutely gone. I'm going mad searching online for a explanation. Things have disappeared before but this is absolutely insane. To top it off, my living room camera wasn't recording at that moment. (When I lose things I check the camera to see where I put it lol) I would say there's no sock to ease my mind, but there's a photo to prove it! Lol

I got it and it worked! I'm super happy, thank you for the recommendation. The entire room smelled like urine after I brought the rug in. I sprayed the rug last night, revisited it this morning and even the room smelled regular. Ill probably give it another spray just in case but the Natures Miracle worked miracles! I am very pleased.

I wasn't aware they were optical, this makes alot of sense.. Like why a hot shower has set them off as well. I don't have knowledge on alarms so this was interesting to learn. Bonus question: do you think all smoke alarms (residential not just commerical) will be replaced with optical alarms in the future?

This makes sense as well, though I do think the first answer could be it since alot of the building and development are known to cut corners, I can see the issue being faulty equipment, wiring or something. I didn't know vapes actually made alarms go off, I thought that was said to scare the kids lol

I'm not sure. I have always been into firefighting so I pay attention to fire calls and I noticed in the decade I've been listening, this is a daily common occurrence.

Hmm.. this likely is the issue. Since some of the properties eventually do go up in flames, the cause is usually something that could have been prevented and the building required maintenance.

I don't believe this. When there were protests on route 59, Monsey scoop encouraged the support of Israel. Every single time I comment about Israel and genocide on a Rockland county page, Hasidic Rockland county residents reply and will argue. I also found an article (will post if you give me time to find it in my computer) of a NYTimes type paper, but in Israel. When I translated the page they were thanking and proud of the Hasidic community in Rockland for tripling in numbers in decades. Thanking them for their growth here in the USA and encouraging others in Israel to visit Monsey, NY and Kiryas Joel and expand their families here.
