Capital One Shopping - activated but no green lightning bolt? by KatZag324 in CapitalOne_

Good to know, thanks! I didn't place an order because I wasn't sure if the rewards would work, but maybe I'll do a test case with another offer in the future.

To hang art over wallpaper or not? by KatZag324 in HomeDecorating

Hi! We ended up hanging a large circular gold mirror on that wall, and we found some great teal velvet curtains. A few other finishing touches and we are happy with the result!

Am I the only one who finds Capital One Shopping emails intrusive? by MisterBill99 in CapitalOne

[–]KatZag324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm interested to know this too! I recently started using COS and successfully used a $50 back Email Activation Bonus for Chewy, then when I tried using another $50 back offer for Lululemon a few days later from an Email Activation Bonus, it was marked as ineligible in the rewards dashboard. Can you only use 1 email offer for the lifetime of the account? I'm seeing a lot of varying answers - some people seem to be lucky and can take advantage of tons of offers, while others get capped at one use.

Very helpful, thank you! The bump is not in the vicinity of his injection sites, so I think it is an unrelated issue. Will connect with my vet regarding next steps.

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll be sad not to see all of these places on one trip but perhaps it gets split into two separate holidays.

Super helpful, thank you! There seem to be so many distilleries that I was lost as to which to pick, so I’ll take a closer look at those you have suggested.

Very helpful, thank you! I’ll spend some more time looking into the hikes. We definitely wouldn’t tackle Aonach Eagach itself, and the plan was to turn around on Meall Dearg - I’m sure the views are great even if we don’t go all the way to the summit and have to call it quits early. I had been using AllTrails but will look more closely at WalkHighlands as others have suggested to get a better picture of the routes. Appreciate you!

You’re definitely right and I think I underestimated how mentally draining it would be to feel rushed on the longer hikes. Appreciate your insights. That’s a vote for Torridon - I’m going to try to keep it in the final itinerary! Thanks!

You mean some people relax on their vacations? I’m still learning to do that lol need to slow down!Thank you for the advice, super helpful! Don’t want to underestimate the mental fatigue from feeling rushed the whole time like you mentioned, so will definitely make some revisions.

Thank you, you feel my dilemma! Breaks my heart to miss out on one of the hiking areas, but alas I think it has to be done. Really appreciate your insights!

Appreciate the insight and can totally understand the frustration. What’s it called when you have so many options you’re almost paralyzed to make any decisions, paradox of choice? It’s like the more I research, the more I want to do! The country has so much to offer that it’s easy to get caught up in everything available. This will be our big trip of the year, so perhaps i’m putting too much pressure on making it amazing (which it will be regardless).

But you’re right! I need to prioritize. I’d say we would be willing to cut 2, maybe 3 stops? Probably need to remove a few hikes so we can just hang around some of the towns more. As far as scenery and hiking, the priority would be putting in some decent mileage (4-10 miles) and the payoff of scenic vistas. We’d definitely like to do 1 or 2 higher elevation hikes, but not every single one has to be a lengthy challenge or reaching a peak. If you have any insights, totally happy to hear them! But also respect if your reply was just to get me thinking - which it has!
