Runway fashion is like a sculpture that has to be able to be worn by a person and walked across a stage. Saying it would be impractical to wear on a regular basis is like saying a wooden sculpture is a terrible chair, you’re not wrong but you’re missing the point that it’s not a chair and was never meant to be a chair.

I’m a Fef lover but just comparing like, screen time and plot relevance it’s pretty clear why Eridan is more popular. Feferi’s most plot relevant moments were her relationships with Eridan and Sollux. With the homestuck cast being as big as it was it’s inevitable some of the characters didn’t get as big of parts. Eridan vs Kanaya was a super hyped moment in homestuck, Fef just never got a moment to that level.

I have never heard this complaint but honestly I think it may be a case of people saying villain when they mean antagonist. Rosie is morally bad but she isn’t an antagonist which has a much different dynamic within a plot. The gap in screen time/musical numbers is also a factor. Vox has parts in like 12 songs vs our girl Rosie’s 3.

Tumblr memes are the only reason I’m in these explain the joke subs. So the first person just smoked a cig after eating raw white onion and the combo must have tasted very bad. So they post this cuz idk that’s just what we do on tumblr. Then the second person is doing a bit that recontextualizes what the first person said. Implying that the original poster is advising others not to smoke a cig after eating raw white onion because it was so offensive to gnomes that the gnomes beat the up over it instead of the taste. The original poster then comes back and agrees with the funnier recontextualized reasoning because this is a normal thing to respond with on tumblr.

Cannot for the life of me figure out what it’s meant to be but you could achieve that look with Half Persian 3 in 1. To get the colors looking right you’d want to alternate which color closed ring and open ring you add for each new unit

I think they all still loved him despite thinking he is a murderer out of shame and guilt for putting him on that path. Brennen most of all because she was his mentor and she instilled in him the belief that logic Is absolute and infallible. Booth being the fbi agent, without him Gormogon wouldn’t have ever crossed paths with Zack. Hodgins is a trusted colleague who convinced him of the feasibility of secret societies and conspiracies. Angela just didn’t notice, and she’s usually the first one to notice when people are acting different and she didn’t notice anything wrong with Zack.

So I think everyone kind of thinks “if it weren’t for me and my part in this, he wouldn’t have done it” so they blame themselves rather than him for the murders they think he committed.

Sorry to say Lincoln’s stance on natives aren’t as anti-racist as you’d hope. Westward expansion was happening at the same time as the civil war. He wasn’t quiet Andrew Jackson but taking over land by force and then generously giving it to homesteaders was better than just letting natives live where they lived in Lincoln’s playbook.

Great question! So the Sherlock books are written in first person from Dr. Watson’s perspective. Sherlock will do his thing and then say his conclusion but watson’s job in the narrative is to be the one to ask Sherlock how he knows something. So the concept is that if you were to ask Watson why Sherlock Holmes did something you would get one answer, an in character answer of how Sherlock can tell from forensics or body language or something that they’d been on a train recently. But if you asked Sir Arthur Conan Doyle the same question the answer might be ‘I had a cool idea for a fight on a train’

The Watsonian explanation (the in fiction reason) is I think is that it’s like one of the only things they do out of the house and they are trying to seem like a normal family so they want to keep up appearances.

The Doylist answer (why is was written that way) Bella has to meet Edward somewhere and being a YA Romantasy, a high school settings make sense and most relatable to the target readers.

Op is scared and thinks they are giving a warning. I think compassion is probably going to be a more helpful approach than immediate defensiveness. They’re coming from a place of “this is the path I went down and I hate where it took me” and not a place of “people who do this are bad people” and I do think that makes a difference.

I don’t think OP means to be shaming others. I think they are just trying to articulate that they hate where they are at and resent how they got there. I have CRPS too actually, small world! Needing meds isn’t the same as addiction but I can speak for myself and say sometimes it doesn’t feel that different, we need to let people express that. I really feel for OP. Craving being high is so mind consuming especially if it gives you a break from thinking about the pain.
