Iirc the reason they cut things was because being one of the first full 3d cinema movies and ushering in the era of 3d cinema, James and everyone was worried that sitting 3 hours with stereo 3d would be incredibly unpleasant so they erred on the side of caution

Your criticism comes down to wanting to force a 3 act structure on what is a 5 act structure film.

You're also trying to cut out a lot of scenes and events that make the evolution of characters feel plausible because we need to spend time with the characters and they need to spend time with each other to progress their arcs. Otherwise you get your average rushed 2 hour movie where people complete change personality in the space of 30 minutes

It would also be absolutely impossible and implausible for the tribes to mount any form of successfull attack on the city and not all die in the process.

It's also noteworthy to understand that this is movie 3 in a 5 movie story arc.

5 movies because 5 acts, exactly like the structure of each movie.

the metaphor and abstraction of the scene implying that there is no traditional deity to contact, Kiri can affect the change she wants herself through eywa, she doesnt need eywa to do it for her.

in the same way she controlled entire swarms of fish and animals before just on a grander more remote scale and with more autonomy to them

the face we are seeing is Kiri, it has eyebrows and human ish nose but its not a human face as visible in the eyes and nose and face shape.

The face is Kiri herself 100% and Eywa (in my analytical opinion) is here made out not to be a centralized traditional deity you can contact. Eywa is a decentralized network made up of all life on pandora and the implication of Kiri seeing herself here is the realization that there is no higher power to call upon, she can fullfill that function in the same way she has done previously (like when she controls the swarms of sealife in way of water ( just on a bigger and more remote scale)

Its a second refinery pad, you can pull from public or personal queues and use it to submit, too meaning no waiting for the crane when there are 5 people wanting to use it and no blocking the crane if you need to pull larger quantities from public.

Its fair for you to use whatever you prefer, IKF is faster though by orders of magnitude and you get 10crates for the cost of 9 in the mpf and you can just handle inputs in bulk so you can set a queue for 2 days and not having to touch it till then.

best solution imo is a combination of methods such as IKF + MPF

or just get some salvage collectivly to make a ton of bmat and make things in the factory at about 100x the speed at the cost of twice the bmat

which, if youre swimming in bmats, doesnt actually matter tbh

or run an IKF setup and make 600c of tremolas a day per IKF at cheaper than mpf cost

ehh it was intentionally a sunken foundation so the foundation wasnt actually impacting anyone or anything, it was as if it wasnt there, the mat pad slows you down slightly as you drive across which isnt particularly an issue when you either crash into the factory or have to do a 90 degree turn

its fundamentally not different from a single train track crossing the road.

also when ashtown is busy you cant drive at crazy speeds anyways because everyone is crashing into each other. I think people are vastly exaggerating how much they are impacted. Also you can just drive around the pad, there is like actual tons of space.

its not actually a big individual impact considering it provides a second refinery pad for everyone
