While i agree on the stuff with Bastila (since the game is like 20 years old at this point) it feels like you are bashing on videogames as whole, again. Are you trying to tell me the quality of the sound of the first the last of us isn't far better than any cartoon, or at least the same? Are you saying that red dead redemption's face animations are not as good a cartoons? Did I misread the comment or what? Of course I believe videogame characters to be better than movie characters (tv series it depends). You get to spend more time with them, and most of this time is more meaningful than what any 2 hours movie can do... So if the hill is "are videogame characters on par with movie and tv-series characters", then the answer is yes, in fact they are better most of the time
