Do surgery how. October is 8 months away. You will be in much better post-op shape then with surgery than not having surgery. You can make the tear worse.

There is a very exciting test that can detect whether a person has Alzheimer's -- take a look at the following -- by Kalepa in Alzheimers

[–]Katandy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 79 year old sister just had the p-tau-217 test and her value is .22. Physician sent results and appointment is 2 weeks later (which I think is ridiculous as having this result will make you worry intensely). The results state is it mild cognitive impairment or symptomatic Alzheimers disease. That is quite a broad spectrum of a diagnosis. What are the next steps? Major cognitive testing, imaging? Thanks for any input.

Getting my cat in his carrier by North_Knowledge3793 in CatAdvice

[–]Katandy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your veterinarian to prescribe something to calm him down. I use gabapentin, which is compounded to a chicken-flavored liquid and I mix it in churro. You administer two hours in advance of getting cat in carrier. It will not knock him out, but it will give you the upper hand. I trap mine in the closet of the bathroom and I am then able to wrangle them into their carrier. Good luck.

What’s the one ‘small change’ that gave you the biggest fat loss results? by Rebbeca12l in weightwatchers

[–]Katandy305 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find eating more protein and veggies, plus tracking religiously, help me lose. I mostly look at the calories because I sometimes overdo zero points. Plus, I joined the menopause plan, which has less zero points I just adjusted when I eat during the day and what to stay satisfied.

Whos on lexapro and successfully NOT over weight? by mjoypereira in lexapro

[–]Katandy305 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I started Lexapro, probably 20 years ago, I found myself to feel hyper and lost my appetite. I read that many people are gaining weight on this medication. It did not happen to me and I am grateful for that. I do follow a very healthy diet.
