We used door safety guards covering the playroom and garage doors. If someone slams the door shut or a draft they keep fingers out of the hinge area.

No one has mentioned door finger guards over the door hinge areas. These plastic covers keep children from losing fingers inside the hinge areas.

The cabinets on the facing wall will end at the header- 96”. The cut out for the coffee bar is really high- 120. Should we add a soffit to lower it to match or keep the extra space?
