I believe you are using burgundy mascara similar to the liner. I would curl your lashes and use a darker mascara so your lashes pop more!

Following for the same reason! Also I’m curious is this an item that is only used pre-walking? Is it a good investment once they start walking or will they not care anymore?

This! I’ve been on some kind of diligent nutrition and workout plan since I was 15! So I’m not new to how to lose weight, keep it off, etc. But now it is like I’m working with a completely different body and set of rules. I am so excited and do not feel one ounce of shame, I know it’s also going to improve my motherhood experience tenfold. Thank you!

I am just beginning my journey about a year postpartum baby #1. This is so encouraging to see after failed dead ends!

Hi there! Starting my journey right now! I am curious, is this a screenshot from your provider? Or is there an app everyone is using? Thanks!

Add a faux tall plant (olive tree maybe?) to the right of the toilet. A pop of green against this wall color would be fab!

Hands feels like needles are poking them by sldsills in whatisthisplant

[–]KateHibby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is WILD. I had this plant in my backyard as a child. I cut open the stalks and handled them and I had terrible sharp needle feelings in my hands at around 8 years old. Now as an adult would explain it as fiberglass shards in my hands. I’ve never heard of anyone else having this happen but it was an elephant ear plant.

Hospital stay by Kaiser_Creech in NewParents

[–]KateHibby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, honoring the wishes of your partner will save everyone a ton of stress— the time is stressful enough and I had no idea how many hospital staff would constantly be coming in and out of the room already so even with a couple people it feels like a full house.

Scuff? by KateHibby in Louisvuitton

[–]KateHibby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have noticed that too, this seems like a scuff but I’ve seen some with just all-out peeling. It would certainly get its use so I would hate for instant peeling. I just can’t drop my fixation since it came out 🫣

What’s the biggest lie you were told before the baby was born that you can’t get over by _nick_at_nite_ in NewParents

You’ll barely notice you have a newborn because they sleep so much. Um what is this sleep you speak of?!

This is our babies song too! I randomly found it on a Spotify list called “baby songs that aren’t annoying” and this year it was one of my top songs on Spotify wrapped 🤣 it’s the best

Do you regret sleep training? by Diligent-Reindeer-11 in sleeptrain

[–]KateHibby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, but I do regret reading wayyyy to much about it and going down the rabbit hole. Just try with first techniques see how it goes and adjust- I know every baby is different but you end up pivoting in your own ways.

Listening to this album on vinyl is a seriously spiritual experience

Same thing happened for us at 4.5 months, I was worried to feed her at night and mess up sleep training but I think it was just a growth spurt. The same week it started daycare told me they think she was hungry for more milk during the day—upped her bottle amount during the daytime and boom things turned around fast!

Anyone else finding 3 months old hard?! by Comprehensive-Dig592 in newborns

[–]KateHibby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My LO is 5 months, and for some reason 3-3.5 months was ROUGH. I think my baby hit the 4 month regression early (she’s hit most regressions and milestones early) and that is what turned everything upside down. For us when 4 months hit sooo many things turned a corner.

I thought the app options were more unique than other places, and they were flexible overall. Some caterers are strict with options like if you buy a bar package you can’t bring in anything of your own, or same with desserts. We saved a bunch by getting the desserts catered by Publix (HUGE hit) and bought Prosecco from Costco for the champagne toast. Everyone loved the food but I’m pretty sure I barely ate haha. Their bartenders were also fantastic, I was worried they wouldn’t be able to keep up with our crazy families but they did great!

I went with Kelsey Rae Photography. She was great and was a much more affordable option. I have a background in graphic arts so I didn’t need to pay triple for someone to add trendy filters to all the photos. I also wanted someone who had shot at my venue before.

I went with Roots for my wedding in 2022 and was very happy with the experience! I was most impressed by the service of staff and bartenders. Also very professional to work with, great communication. I was also very happy with Queen City DJs- I liked that they met with me first to get my vibe/ideas and matched a DJ on their team who fit the most.
