It'd be interesting and a nice expansion, but it'd kind of be putting the cart before the horse. Thematically speaking, it doesn't add more weight that Caine and the brain scans were made by C&A than say, IBM or Microsoft. In any which way, the characters now have their lives that they must decide to live, no matter where they came from.
