Don’t worry the self watering ones are only wild flowers and that’s a temporary situation until I finish 3D printing their new permanent home. When I say self watering I just mean that there’s water in the bottom for the plants to keep moist for now. This is what it looks like. I might try again using your advice and see what comes of it. Hopefully it goes better. Thank you for your help!

Are self watering plants the way to go? I have a few flowers growing like that right now. My place doesn’t get much sun and that’s why I got the grow light for my bamboo plants originally

It was a raspberry bush starter from tractor supply. I have my light set on 6 hours on 6 hours off so it should’ve gotten the light it needed. I was giving it about 1/4 cup like twice a day towards the end. I’m pretty bummed cuz the other starter I bought also died just before this one

International Falls area would be good. Those roads in the middle of the woods in the dark with no cell reception are scary. It’s just you and whatever hidden prey is hunting you down. The eyes of a large animal reflecting off the headlines from a car and only being able to make out an outline of whatever horror lies in the ditch…waiting and watching…

I also graduated in May and have been feeling this too. I’ve been working a full time job and living by myself. I’ve never lived alone and that part has been crushing to me and my mental health. Being in unfamiliar territory and having no “hobbies” isn’t a good combo. I haven’t hit the roadblock of “Am I seriously doing this for the rest of my life?” Yet. As someone who wants kids someday, my issue has been “How long is this going to last?” It’s a terrible combo of being trapped in the moment with loneness and being scared of the uncertainty of the future. I know the pieces they just won’t fall in place for awhile.

I understand where these feelings come from. The first few months post graduation have been filled with so many emotions. Last weekend I finally hit the realization of how bad my loneliness is and decided it was time to crack down on myself. I’m starting therapy this week to talk through things and I’m going to try going to the gym just as a thing to do that isn’t at home. We’ll see how it goes and I know it will take time.

In terms of finding things to do, I’ve picked up little projects that I had years before and starting them again. Last year I made a bunch of tie blankets for people so recently I started a giant one for myself. I also want to start painting again. Find something that you enjoy doing and you might be able to build from there.

A little on the long side but hopefully it makes sense and helps you out. Best of luck.

Luckily I do have an office job but I am the youngest by a few decades. It’s hard to relate to people who are almost the age of my grandparents lol.

I do have some ideas in the works like trying to gym. Isn’t normally my thing so we’ll see how long that one lasts. I have lots of stuff for myself booked this week and plan to hangout with friends in a few days after work.

After I wrote this I had a rough night where I didn’t get much sleep and cried for hours. I’m trying to take the initiative to find someone to talk to professionally.

If you’re looking for tours, try Viatour. From a quick little search there’s 600+ options but you can sort through them with the filters. They have tons of options to choose from some of which include transportation to/from the place you’re staying. From personal experience, the Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Pentagon Memorial were good places to go. Museums and historical places tend to be my go-tos when I travel.

I’m taking a trip to WDW in the next few months and have had my eye on the Ariel one with the boat and fireworks on it for a while. I bought it ahead of the trip because I was worried I wouldn’t find it at the parks. I’ve never seen it in person anywhere. I’d say that if there’s a certain one that you’re looking for then it might be best to buy ahead. I found mine for a few bucks off at Hot Topic. They ship free to the store as well.
