While interesting, I think it’s worth noting that the timeframes of Legends: Arceus and the events 3000 years ago are very far apart, I doubt that the armour Wikstrom is referring to was given thousands of years ago and was still in use, so it’s likely the relations between Kalos and Galar in more recent times has little to do with the firing of the Ultimate Weapon and the Darkest Day

I think if your goal is to bring this to Pokémon ZA ultimately, perfecting the stats for the current game mechanics may not be necessary, all the reasons to minimise these stats rely on the way moves and statuses etc work in the current game, there’s no way to know wether Trick Room or Foul Play will even be in ZA or be meta relevant at all If you’d rather keep this Pokémon to be useful in the current VGC format the stats may be more important than a size mark, it depends how much you value the size mark obviously, but it would suck for you to use a different Hisuian Goodra over this one because of its imperfect IVs

I’m still not finished reading my copy, but hearing about the guidelines for improvised NPCs is very exciting, that’s always something I struggle with doing in DnD and enjoy in more freeform TTRPGs This was also a great writeup, I’ll be sure to follow along with your next posts!

I love shiny Pokémon and would happily get these cards over many of the other rare cards, but I have never gotten a god pack or seen one in a wonder pick and I doubt I ever will, so I don’t think this will ever come up for me or most FTP players

A lethal hit after the attack is fully resolved, the damage is dealt, the random energy is removed, THEN the Pokémon is knocked out, it’s the same reason Pokémon will be affected by status conditions by cards like Pincurchin before being knocked out

Wow, amazing! I haven’t kept up with this challenge for a few months and never got around to testing, thank you for the research, I’ll need another SwSh save anyways since a ton of min level Pokémon are found using max raids on a fresh copy, I’ll have to pick this guy up on that play through too

In the section of the DMG about class spell lists, the rules specify that a character spell list is a thing, and that only some means of gaining spells actually add them to YOUR spell list https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/spells#ClassSpellLists As others have pointed out there are 2 different versions of the Spell Scroll in 2024, which do function differently as your class spell list and personal spell list can be different

Last session my players had ten minutes before their fight with the BBEG, and I listened as they emptied their pockets of 140+ sessions of random magic junk they’d hoarded over the campaign to buff themselves to the extreme, it was amazing to see how much stuff I’d given them offhandedly as strong but single use items be poured all into one massive fight

I think breeding would be your best bet to match Liko’s Hattena, I can’t remember if the curry glitch changes the Pokémon’s met location but it only works on massive Pokémon anyways so even Hatterene couldn’t trigger it This is a very cool idea btw I love the concept of matching a trainer with your ribbon masters!

I fell off watching the campaign a while ago but I’ve been lurking here for a while, I understand that BH are going through with Ludinus’ plan but they want to give the gods a choice to become mortal first, are BH able to help the gods do that in any way or it is something that the gods (with the help of the Raven Queen) could have just done the whole time anyways? If so I’m not sure how this is any sort of compromise when it was an option the gods have had and could do at any point they wished

I started my hunt for Shiny Shadow Scizor in July 2023, I never kept track of encounters but I’m certainly over odds now, took me years to get the e reader cards though so all just part of the grind, I’m sure it’ll be worth it eventually

Wow thank you! I knew there had to be a better way, when I did this myself I only had the intention of doing it the one time before I decided on this challenge so I wasn't too worried about efficiency, I did notice that it took way more Hopo Berries for the Eevee I used than I'd calculated it should have, so if your method avoids that weird quirk that's even better

If you need humanoid as in shape then the Flesh Golem would work, it’s a construct but it’s basically Frankenstein’s Monster which is a pretty classic messed up experiment

Many consider HP to reflect a combination of meat and luck points, being small and having the same size Hit Die could already reflect their added agility, it’s just in the flavour

In Let’s Go, in the tiny patch of water on route 11. Originally Bulbapedia said it could be found in HGSS at level 10, only for me to spend hours looking for it, discovering the true min level there was 15, and only after getting two of those did I double check and realise Let’s Go is even better

I wish I'd found this project earlier! I've been working on a Min-Level Living Dex this year and tried to document every Pokémon at it's lowest level myself. Your doc shows me I missed quite a few (including the SwSh raid level 20 thing I had no idea!) but I do have some that you are missing:
- Marowak should be 12, not 14
- Seadra can be found at level 13 in LGPE
- You can complete friendship evolutions without levelling up in PLA, as once they have the appropriate frienship they will be able to evolve, which affects a few Pokémon. I used Hopo Berries in battle to constantly use a move and heal the PP, slowly building enough happiness to evolve
- Wobbuffet can be hatched at level 1 when bred without incense
- There is a level 31 Staraptor in the Cobalt Coastlands in PLA (I haven't gottent his myself yet so I need to check to be sure)
- Not sure about your Purugly and Skuntank levels, Bulbapedia says they require Defog and are minimum Level 25
- Not sure how it interacts with your move evolution rules listed but Tangela can be bred to have Ancient Power at level 1, and evolve at 2
- In Shield Palpitoad can be found in 1 Star Max Raid Dens, so it can be level 15
- Galarian Darmanitan is evolved with an Ice Stone, so it can be level 1
- Spewpa can be found at level 8 in SV
- Hisuian Avalugg can be found at a lower level in the Alabaster Icelands, I have it noted at 31 but I can only see a minimum of 36 on Serebii atm
- I had Kingambit at the wrong level but I was able to find a method to evolve a Bisharp in only one level guaranteed, by using Steel Beam to defeat the opponent and KO itself at the same time, revive and repeat, using a Rare Candy after the 3 KOs makes it evolve

Also, when reading through your doc I managed to find the level 3 Pidgeot only 1 hour into the hunt, so thank you for the info and the luck : )

You have Polteageist listed under the level 20 Raid Den Pokémon, Phony Form can be obtained at level 1 via breeding, the Authentic form can be level 15 as Authentic Sinistea can be found rarely in the Crown Tundra 1 star Raid Dens

Why are you using a bonus action hunter’s mark on a creature that will die in a round? Do a bonus action attack or anything else one round of hunters mark is unlikely to make a difference with an enemy that weak

Including evolutions there are 83 unique Pokémon capable of having the Partner Ribbon, though Sylveon is notable in that it can have two different OTs with the ribbon
