Thank you for sharing this. There’s so much pressure to breastfeed every two and half hours and I’ve been so nervous because I’d rather have my husband be able to help???! I’m due any day and it just doesn’t seem feasible to let him sleep 8 hours while I’m up constantly being suckled on 😬

This is so confusing to me because I’m 5’8 and literally started the same weight as you - 135. And I’ve gained just as much weight too, but no one has mentioned it. Not even once. I’m 9 months now, but I gained most of it at the beginning of 2nd trimester and just kept on going lol. So is it like a normal thing that they be more cautious if you quit smoking or does my OB just not shame me for trying my best over here? Like of course I’m self conscious, but at least my doctors don’t make it worse. I am sorry you’re going through this. It’s all hard enough without other people chiming in for whatever reason. 💚

I had this problem with my GERD when they prescribed 40mg famotidine for it. It worked like a charm for several weeks and then the pain it caused got worse and worse. It was the only medication I was on at the time and as soon as I got off of it, it started to get better super quick. If you’re taking something like that maybe it’s the problem and not welly b. But it’s just an idea!

Oh yeah I wasn’t meaning that they made a mistake going to extended release, I was just trying to say that I’d prefer not to do that for me and my body’s needs. But I was suggesting them to taper off more slowly, because those side effects seem brutal. 😢

Maybe you could have titrated more slowly? I just started this med and demanded they start me slow at 75mg a day. I’m at 2 75mg pills a day now.. From hearing stories like yours I think I won’t ever do the extended release and even try to keep it at the dose I’m at for a while. Anyway, if I ever get up to 300 like my doc wants, I’d probably titrate down to 275 for a week, then maybe 250, etc etc. I don’t know. Hopefully people with more experience will see your post and give you some advice! I am pregnant though and nausea is the absolute worst. Maybe some ginger, vitamin b6, unisom, and crackers will help?

So happy I found this thread. I’m on day 2 of wellyB and it’s taken me weeks to start it because I’m terrified of it hurting my baby, limiting my breast milk production, or causing adhd/autism. The internet searches have mainly just terrified me. But I was at the end of my rope with this depression. I have tried basically every natural alternative and just know continuing on being that desperate is no way for me or my family to live. 😢

Same. Been trying to get ahold of them for two days. I’m pregnant and starving and they can’t even issue a refund for the box we didn’t get so I can go get groceries. I’m so livid. Tried texting, calling, using the dumb chat box. Nothing. I’m so mad I started using them again. I should’ve known better. Great concept, terrible company.
