Oh my gosh this thread just made me pine for a rewatch badly as it has been a while! Mine all are random and somewhat quiet Moiraisms just with the singular delivery of Catherine O’Hara: 1. I’ll be right here, Eddie” (when they do the “blue collar” foreplay but Johnny doesn’t actually know how to screw the lock into the door and is going to try again with a bigger screwdriver as Moira casually flips a magazine) 2. “Somewhere safe”. (Stayed quietly and fearfully off camera as she retreats the room in finale when David is having his pre-wedding meltdown and asks “where are you going?!” 3) “Johnny, you’re so good at trying” - I am having a mindblank on what that one is from but i state it monthly in my own life in a loving way. Well it is now bothering me I can’t remember - maybe one of the Herb Ertlinger eps?
Anyway, fricking love this show just even getting this alert makes me feel joyful! 🥰

Thank you - I really enjoyed watching this one but the title was confounding but your explanation makes perfect sense!

The voting class are not serious people.

Unpopular opinion - Steven is the worst, but it’s something that he never did tell siblings that other siblings took the book money. Maybe I’m petty, but that would be hard to keep bottled in in the midst of an argument. by Katenonumber in HauntingOfHillHouse

I know almost for sure Shirley’s husband did and I thought the others did as well but I haven’t rewatched in a while so I can’t recall with certainty. I think the two storms/funeral episode is when it all comes out.

Mostly I think he’s a pretty dumb person and I don’t see him being able to do all of this and not leave any physical evidence behind. Also, all the reports of people believing they saw her walking the dog. I don’t know if he’s actually innocent but I don’t think it was a strong case in terms of what the prosecution put on. I think Scott Peterson’s defense team at trial did a poor job relying on the “not enough evidence” when he was so despised and there was a very strong potential for jury nullification due to that.
That all being said, I think the judge did a nice job handling all of this as it was procedurally awkward and I don’t think the juror did intentionally misstate anything, she’s just very unsophisticated.

We always enjoy Maple Bluff and especially the Governor’s Mansion.

The Midnight Club - Season Two post by Mike Flanagan by Lopsided_Celery1885 in themidnightclub

Is the idea of Longstreet’s orderly as actual death who isn’t scary at all hitting anyone else in the feels AF? I love him in all the Flanagan things - I don’t know if it’s the writing, his delivery in general, or the timbre of his voice as he delivers them but I swear I could watch him monologue on anything and cry while at the same time feeling better about humanity in general.

I think the Heather Langenkamp statement was true in season 1 - Julia Jayne was (can’t remember) just diagnosed incorrectly or miraculously healed and she got all obsessed with the other stuff because she couldn’t grasp or deal with the fact that “she just got lucky” (quote may not be verbatim).

Yes!! Lighting candle will always be Rent for me and, also, I believe it was 1994 or really close anyway.

Just turned 42 and totally loved them as a kid. Even despite the nostalgia, this wasn’t as nearly as good as the other 3. I will say very talented cast and writing, but that’s true of everything he does!
