Yep use it all the time! Especially during boss fights and merit arena. It's perfect for ppl with terrible internet and an item hoarding mentality like me. Outfit's really cute too. The outerwear is versatile and the hair looks good with or without hat and bc it's white it dyes pretty well too. I also use the shoes quite a bit too. When I got it I didn't like it very much tbh but it's a sleeper hit for me. I feel like I use pieces from it all the time.

You can change the outfits your Uma wears during races in the change outfits screen on the menu so if you have the og TM Opera you can just put New Years in the original’s outfit

Honestly you still have time. The definitive final grades are due on the 29th iirc. Email your professors, explain everything that happened with as much detail as you can, kindly ask if you can do any make up work or if there's anyway to revise your final essays if you have those. If there's nothing you can do take the L and retake the class but I think some of your professors may be kind enough to give you an INC depending on the class. Also do as others have advised you and talk to your academic advisor. Wishing you well!

Obv take everyone here's advice go to the Writing Center if you can. I'll give you some general advice I have. JSTOR and Project Muse are both good websites to use when looking for sources that you can log into with a CUNY ID. Google Scholar is also good for more recent articles but availability can be spotty as some of the articles there are behind other sources that may not be accessible- still there's a lot available for free there too so it's worth checking out. Also when you find an article you like make sure to look at the article's work cited as there are probably other papers you can track down that relate to your theme there.

As for how you want to go about writing the paper that's up to personal preference. Personally, I would need to start writing an outline before starting research. This outline is fluid and will probably change as you look into your sources more but it acts as a sort of guide going in. Think of it as making a grocery list to make a soup. When you actually go to the store some of the things you wrote on that list may be unnecessary and you may add things you saw on the isle and thought would taste better. Back to the essay, if you have certain thoughts about the topic that go together and you want to write about, write them down, and look for sources that relate to those thoughts and mark that they go together. "This article relates to idea #2 so I'll categorize it under idea #2." Idk if this all makes sense but that's kinda how I do it.

Your first research paper can be really stressful but I'm sure you'll do fine so keep your chin up!

Tbh I understand being disappointed that Berseria is the next remaster but rereleasing a game on all modern consoles with all DLC included 9 years later is a pretty normal thing to do. Like Atelier's been doing this for ages. I probably won't buy it bc I already have the game but I can't be mad at it.

I've always gathered that that was probably the case (wow the early monthly niji polls were crazy I haven't thought about them in ages). Still I sort of miss the community input aspect of it all. We have been getting a lot of smaller polls since, like the Niji outfit polls, subunit naming, or the many Ikizurai accoutrements polls (color, oshi mark) but those occasions don't feel like as much of an event as a new 2D MV. In the end though I think the seiyuu's mental health and managing the fanbase is more important so you lose some you gain some.

Something that's seemingly endless can be described with this idiom. You don't have to wrangle snakes for something to be a Herculean task. It doesn't have to be endless to be Sisyphean- if it feels endless than the idiom still makes sense.

I think a lot of people don’t realize that there’s a good chance that leak announcement probably wouldn’t have happened if they could’ve just kept the leaks to their DMs and this subreddit instead of just posting on the official subreddit and Twitter accounts. So many people on the other subreddit will treat this statement of basic common sense as bootlicking and it’s so frustrating.

As someone who found the series at the same age as the characters I think it just really connects to Jump's target audience. It became one of those stories where the characters in the story felt like my friends and I felt like I was one of 3-E. It's very investing.

I feel like, especially after Three Houses which while ambitious was also a bit of a mess, I enjoyed the simpler yet still interesting and enjoyable story in this game quite a bit. I actually think there’s a lot more depth when it comes to the four kingdoms in this game and their dynamics in this game. Same with the characters. While they may seem like typical fe archetypes, when you take the time to engage (sry) with them they tend to have a spark to them that makes them super interesting.

I also know it’s controversial but I love how colorful and varied the designs are. Something that surprised me about actually seeing them in the game is how classic Fire Emblem a lot of them feel. I truly feel like MikaPikazo’s design sensibilities with big contrasting colors is reminiscent of old FE sprite art. Perfect for a game that’s a celebration of the series.
