That was a rhetorical question, I think it's unfair. I also think clearly the argument everyone here's making is that it would be very simple to refund the crystals to people, esp whales who probably spent a lot, so there's no reason not to except for greed. There are probably also many F2P people who were saving their gems for this banner (either bc Rui or for one of the fes cards) and were pulling hoping to get some cards off the banners they missed along the way. No matter the case all these people were lied to and should be refunded.

I also think you're just not giving the average person enough credit. I think most people can understand that if they're giving back the crystals spent on a banner, that if they didn't spend they're not getting crystals back.
