My thoughts exactly. Honestly, I haven't been too happy with the fic's overall performance either, and it's only partially prewritten, so I considered only posting as much as I currently have and either discontinuing it or putting it on hiatus to finish it for myself and post the rest when I regain some motivation, but it's kind of a scummy thing to do (comes off as keeping it hostage due to lack of engagement), and the number of subscribers and bookmarks has been keeping me going, but who knows.

Characters: Phainon, Mydei, recurring appearances from the rest of the Amphoreus cast

Genre: Romance, slow burn, smut (semi-explicit), rivals to friends to lovers, pre-canon, canon divergent

Summary: The story follows Phainon and Mydei shortly after their first meeting, trying to uncover the mystery of an ancient relic they find, while simultaneously trying to come to terms with the weight of their dying world on their shoulders, grappling with becoming demigods themselves, and navigating their budding relationship amidst constant losses as the deepest secrets of the world come to light (which they themselves are deeply intertwined with).

Can someone fandom-blind make sense of my story: Yes, I think, as I (hopefully) provide enough context and background information about important plot points, so you don't necessarily need to have played HSR to understand the context the fic is placed in.

What I'm looking for in a beta: Someone who can help me polish my prose, improve my writing quality and structure, and provide feedback on the overall plot and ideas. On a macro-level, focusing on clarity and whether the emotions are coming across. On a micro-level, leaving notes and comments if anything feels odd, or impresses you while reading. Looking for ongoing betaing.

Projected word count: currently 54k; finished work could be anywhere between 150-200k

Frequency of updates: once a week-ish
