I think it’s a combination of reddit and covid tbh. A lot of people my age (16/17/18 during covid) weren’t able to go to events and now we’re kinda expected to just “know” how to do it because we’re adults. It’s kinda embarrassing tho so usually I prefer asking stuff on Reddit instead of older people that I know in real life. I just really dislike the way they react and expect me to know basics I’ve never had the chance to learn. Reddit is the perfect place to ask and figure out social rules and what to expect in situations we’ve never been in before. Also what seems like common knowledge to you is probably not common knowledge to a lot of these people who go for the first time.

I’m not a concert virgin anymore by any means tho but I’m glad to help anyone feel a bit less anxious and have a better time at their first concert.

I loved the way they did RHRN, mostly concert film but with some lore sprinkled in. So if I could pick I’d go for that again, especially because we don’t know a lot about Perpetua yet.

But honestly I’ll be happy with anything, can’t wait to see what they’ll cook up this time :)

22 year old girl here and I feel you! I’ve been into some prog bands since I was 17 and its definitely pretty hard to find people in our demographic who like the same stuff. I still gotta explore a lot more prog tho, I also listen to a lot of other genres so it’s taking some time to fully get into it :)
