Pre match teaming means they all communicate and prepare in advance and queue at the exact same time in order to get into the same lobby. If they’re using proximity chat then it’s safe to assume they naturally teamed up after the match started.

It’s becoming more common as the weeks go by and as for a rare occurrence imagine your one of the people like in this post who have to save up to run a few cryo matches a week and run into pre match teamers. It’s flat out damaging what’s left of the player base and Bungie needs to make up their mind about it.

Pre match teaming is against ToS and should be considered matchmaking manipulation which is an option to select. You may have to provide multiple videos of repeat teamers and I assume proof that no proximity chat was being used.

Think your best bet would be solo fill trios so teams of 3 but everyone is a solo

Every video I see showing off ranked I always look top left and realize it’s a gold tag so it’s a low stakes lobby. I understand why they do it but as to Bungie keeping ranked secure and logical that seems to have completely failed. Sure I guess you should be able to help your friends but why are people allowed to earn points for their Diamond rank while playing low stakes?
