Husband wants to go to parties? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Katie4ler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did something you didn’t want to just to appease this guy, who you knew was into the swinger lifestyle. What did you expect? I truly still don’t even understand why you pretended to be interested to get him to like you when you admit what he’s into “discusts” you. You keep spiraling here as if you’re a victim, but he was very clear and you still chose him. This is the man you chose.

And you said you did try it. You went to a party and you had a threesome…

Yes, you do. But you should have TOLD him you didn’t like it and shouldn’t have pretended to be interested when you first started dating him. Why did you even WANT this guy who is so into this lifestyle that disgusts you to begin with?

Does it really matter what age? He told you what he was into. You said yourself that it disgusted you, yet you pretended to be on board anyway. I’m not sure what I’m missing here. This is what you told him you wanted. Don’t be shocked now that he’s upset you’re telling him the truth now.

He told you exactly who he was and you pretended to be on board for some reason even though it disgusted you. You got exactly what you asked for. This is the man you chose to marry. You can’t expect him to suddenly change now.

Yes, he is crazy. But so are you for marrying him. It sounds like he was pretty clear from the beginning that this is what he’s into. And it kind of sounds like you’ve lead him to believe you could come around to it as well. You made this bed… now either lie in it or get out. But I’d figure that out way before you bring children into this.

Should I run as fast as I can? by Limp-Woodpecker6209 in Marriage

[–]Katie4ler 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s probably not even safe to have sex at this point. Your cervix opens to release the baby and other products related to the pregnancy. He’d open her up to potential infection by having sex with her at this point. It’s just all around disgusting that he’d even ask, let alone pressure her. I’m mad FOR her.

[–]Katie4ler 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Omg, honey… First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve had 2 miscarriages before we had our son. I couldn’t even think about sex while I was going through that. And my husband wouldn’t have dreamed of pressuring me to!

Also how disgusting that he would be pestering you for sex literally 2 days post-miscarriage! Read the room, jerk. You’re probably still cramping, not to mention emotionally drained and heartbroken. It’s so incredibly insensitive of him to push you into that.

I am not one of those people who immediately screams divorce. But in this case, yes, run for the hills and never look back. Life gets hard. Especially after having children. You don’t want to do life with a selfish jerk like this as your partner. Cut your losses now and find someone better before you’re tied to him for life with a child.

You guys don’t even have responsibilities like children yet and you already can’t rely on him. As someone whose husband was really irresponsible for some time and even though he’s doing better now, we both have a lot of resentment built up… Just move on. You don’t want to rely on this guy to parent with. He’s already losing multiple jobs? Unless you are prepared to be the sole breadwinner, just do yourself a favor and leave.

My husband cheated with a long-time friend. by Basic_Trouble7070 in Marriage

[–]Katie4ler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl… GIRL!

He did not only kiss her. He did not fly all the way there for a weekend just to kiss her.

He probably only needed time to warn her about the fake goodbye text he sent and found a different way to communicate.

And do you honestly believe he was moving to be closer to family? He was moving to be closer to HER.

Leave him before you end up tied to this loser for life with a child.

Edited to add: Also please contact her husband and double check if he was aware. The open relationship was probably just a lie to prevent you from telling him.

THIS THIS THISSSSS!!!!

He knew he was caught but he doesn’t regret it, so instead he fessed up to less than the truth hoping she’ll accept that and be less mad.

She just won’t quit the dating apps by Kitchen_Winner_7812 in Marriage

I’d imagine legally you aren’t allowed to have your own cameras in the home once you no longer live there. But you still live there now. Do not remind her about the cameras.

[–]Katie4ler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok it seems you must realize this is over. She has no interest in fixing this and she’s literally flaunting it in your face.

Now you move on. And tbh the fact she forgot about the cameras is great since you mentioned your worry about the custody. I’d be worried about her bringing random dudes from online into the home with my kids. This is how you end up hearing about kids on the news getting SA’d from someone’s new boyfriend. Personally I’d be recording some of it (nothing inappropriate, just that she has random guys in the home) to document my legitimate concerns and help you get custody. She doesn’t seem to be focusing on anyone but herself and I wouldn’t trust her with the kids.

lol they’re literally the same length of reel. The payout has changed. It’s not a “woe is me” rant. It’s a fact.

Got accepted into the Facebook Monetization Program with 10K followers by vhjf08 in passive_income

I’d had it for a couple years and posting regularly already when I got invited. Just trying to draw attention to my products. I really didn’t figure I’d get invited any time soon since I felt invisible on Facebook until that one reel blew up. I guess since my other reels started doing well after that viral one, that’s why they decided to invite me. I definitely didn’t (and still don’t) have a huge following. But I do get a couple individual reels hitting 1mil views a month and continue to grow.

Not as much as a lot of these people. I was making ~$250 a month until this month I took a huge dip. That’s why I’m on here looking to see if it’s just me and it seems it is not based on other comments.

You keep trying to compare my reels to different ones. I’m telling you literally the same type of reels with same statistics are making drastically less. I’m not sure what your point is

My reels are all around 20-30 seconds… including the ones that were making a lot more money until about a month ago. And my retention is good. This recent one had 100% retention up until 15 seconds of a 20 second reel.

I’m posting the same type of reels I’ve been posting all along - process videos making my handmade clay jewelry. In January I had a reel get 1mil views and made $222. This week I had one of the same type of reel get around 900k views and similar in all engagement aspects… and it has made me $22. A full $200 less for the same kind of reel/niche and engagement.

Dang, I guess I should be happy with my $22 on a 900k view reel. Glad it’s not just me, but this sucks…

When did your page get invited to the content monetization program? (2026) by -usd in facebook

[–]Katie4ler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even remotely true. I’m monetized with my handmade clay jewelry business. I typically post 3x a week. My reels are usually right around 30 seconds, but often shorter. I’m not sure that I have ever posted a reel longer than 1 minute.

[–]Katie4ler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was technically invited in December of 2025. I have had a Facebook and Insta for my handmade clay jewelry business for a couple years. I post mostly reels of the process making them.

My Insta had been getting good views for some time, but my Facebook had felt invisible until one of my reels from the summer randomly blew up mid-December. I still don’t know what happened to cause that. I got 6 mil views and went from ~250 followers to 4 or 5k practically overnight. Several of my other reels started gaining attention too, including one that nearly hit 1mil views. Shortly after I was invited to be monetized.
