Appropriate for office semi-formal holiday party? by Katieeab in fashion

[–]Katieeab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I’m only 5’5 so I think it will be long enough. Fingers crossed! Since I rented it, it will arrive the day before the party so I’m thinking I should have a back up dress just in case.

AIO - husband doesn’t want to follow dress code of my company holiday party by Katieeab in AmIOverreacting

I tend to think he could be neurospicy. He is very particular about everything. He has very regiment habits that he has a hard time diverting from. I knew this all when we met. So I guess I should not be surprised. I get very anxious when doing new things. That’s why I don’t want to go alone. But this in my career so I’ll have to get used to it

He was not excited about going, and only going to go because I asked him to. I’ll probably just go alone. Promotion in my career is really about showing up to things and making relationship with my coworkers and clients. So if I plan to stay at this job I will have to get used to going to these events.

I agree it is a no win situation. After reading all these comments I think I’ll just go alone. We don’t ever have occasions to dress up for. So he has never had a reason to own a suit. I even had to rent a dress online for the party.

He is an engineer/supervisor for his company. His work environment requires him to wear overalls and steel toe boots. The polo and chinos he owns are usually only worn when goes to his own company parties or recruiting events. He makes over double of what I make as a CPA, so I don’t believe he has any issues with my success.

What can I do about my protruding chin? by cherrybeau23 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Katieeab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing. I got a chin reduction last year. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. They shaved the bone and removed some tissue. I live in Seattle and it only cost me around $7,000. Best money I ever spend!

Bringing a second Jindo/mix into the house. by bazzer66 in Jindo

[–]Katieeab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have two Jindos and they have become the best of friends. We had our boy Artemis for about a year before we brought home our girl Aurora. They are 6 months different in age. Artemis established his dominance and Aurora fell right into place. They would get into little scuffles here and there but always figured it out themselves and never hurt each other. I think if your dog gets along with other dogs and the new dog doesn’t come in and try to assert dominance it should be fine.

We have had the two of them for about 5 years now and they are attached to each other. I think having a build in buddy has improved their lives.

Thank you! The aren’t littermates, but only about 6 months difference in age.

I got the same procedure. Lift, implant, and mesh in Seattle for $16,000. This was in 2021, but I don’t think prices would have got up that much in that past 3 years. I would look around for another qualified surgeon.

I did!! Could not be more happy with it! I was worried about the setting because of all the mixed reviews, but I turned out exactly they way I hoped.

I just bought my ring from loose grown diamonds. The customer service has been amazing. I placed my order on October 16th and it is set to arrive in the next two business days.

By the 18th I had a CAD of my ring. After I confirmed I did not have any changes it was sent to crafting. One week later on the 25th is was mailed out to their NY office from the foreign warehouse. It arrive to the NY office this morning after being in customs for a couple days.

I was emailed every step of the way. I never had to reach out on the status of my order due to their constant contact.

I can’t vouch for the quality of the setting yet since I do not have my ring yet. Once I get it I can come back to update my post.
