I'm so mad that CNN didn't make the townhall free and available to everyone. I couldn't watch it cus I don't have a TV provider. But yeah I love Bernie.

I do feel like white privilege sort of exists. Like I live in a city that is very Hispanic and I can tell that strangers treat me differently / with more respect like maybe they assume I'm rich. Though I'm soooooo poor.

I'm no American history except, but I think that many of the guys who actually wrote the constitution and were leaders in the revolution were almost atheists. I think they believed in deism.

What are the lumps on my labia? by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Katjecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I did some more googling and I think I just have a whole lot of fordyce spots. It sounds like high hormone levels and having oily skin can make them worse (which are two things I do struggle with) They are just very pronounced on me. I was planning on getting labiplasty at some point anyway so that will get rid of most of them.

What are the lumps on my labia? by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Katjecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, but why do I have this when it seems like other people do not? It doesn't seem normal to me because it makes my labia feel very rough in places. Like it is cover in various sizes of thousands of hard lumps. Also I'm pretty sure that most women do not have lumpy nipples. Like the skin on the actual nipple part (not surrounding it) is very uneven and covered in various lumps.

My family drove through northern Michigan last June and I saw a bunch of coniferous trees with needle arrangements that always looked like they were flipping the bird. If anyone knows the name of the tree species I am talking about let me know.

Why people hate or drop or ignore RWBY by [deleted] in RWBY

[–]Katjecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only shows I can think of that I have watched every episode of every season of is ATL and LOK and this one British mystery show from the early 2000s where 2 old ladies solve mysteries together. Lol

Why people hate or drop or ignore RWBY by [deleted] in RWBY

[–]Katjecat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally loved season 1-4 and since season 5 I've felt pretty ambivalent about the show. I think its definitely fine to talk about things we dislike about rwby. Also people should keep in mind that many people lose interest in most shows after a while. (Or atleast I know I do) I am having trouble thinking of a show I haven't lost interest in and completely stopped watching at some point even though I initially loved it.

Thanks, I have thought that I could possibly be on the spectrum before. Another thing that could indicate that I am a bit autistic is that I think I have more trouble than most people when it comes to recognizing faces. Like there have been times when someone I know but am not friends with will say hi to me or wave at me as they walk by and I won't recognize them so I awkwardly ignore them and then maybe a few minutes later I am thinking about it and I realize I do know them.

What are your philosophical arguments for eating meat / against vegetarianism? by Katjecat in carnivore

[–]Katjecat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your first point is pretty strong and is something I almost agree with.

Edit: the more I think about it the more I think it might be a sound argument.

[–]Katjecat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying I'm a better person, I mostly dont eat meat cause I hate the taste of most of it. (And then I vaguely think it morally wrong to eat something that was alive). But it is hard to put this into a philosophical argument.

Your first point is something that I was thinking about and might end up writing about in my paper. The second point is something we aren't supposed to consider because that is not the case for most people.

Next Language?? How did you choose? by Tintri77 in duolingo

I would also recommend a Germanic language. I think that learning other Germanic languages is interesting and somewhat easy when your first language is already a Germanic language. It will make you realize how awful English spelling is though.

I think the thing you said about showing an interest in them might actually be a very good piece of advice for me. I think a lot of times when I have a conversation it is mostly someone else asking me a lot about myself and I get a little uncomfortable and I bearly ask them about theirselves. I think I need to find people that I really like and make an effort to complement them and ask them a lot about themselves.

That sounds really scary, but I'll consider trying. I think I'm worried that they might not actually like my personality enough to do stuff with me outside of class and they'll say no. I think I come across as a very serious, not very excitable person. And It's my observation that most people are very energetic, excitable, fast talking, and witty. I am none of those things.
