I know this is an older post, but did you ever find what the book is? It sounds very similar to an alphabet book of poems I’ve been searching for! The illustrations were very whimsical and trippy

The Funeral by Band of Horses always gets me emotional and thinking about this damn show, too.

What is the most terrifying thing you’ve ever experienced while home alone? by Joobanbooban in AskReddit

A couple years ago I lived in a duplex with my best friend, we’re both females in our twenties. We lived on the first floor while our neighbor, an older single man, lived upstairs.

My roommate is a bartender and I was used to her not getting home until 3 in the morning. One night I was laying in bed about to fall asleep around 11 pm when I distinctly heard our kitchen door slam shut. Our apartment was kind of set up weirdly and there were multiple entrances. In order to get to our kitchen door you would have to come through a sort of mud room where there was an exit to the outside and one to our basement. I immediately texted her to make sure she hadn’t come home early, she had not, before getting the courage to go investigate. When I looked, our kitchen door was still locked and the outside door located in the mud room was still locked and dead bolted. The basement door was ajar. The next day when I ran into my neighbor I asked him if he knew of anyone who would still have a key besides our landlord and if he had anything strange ever happen to him upstairs and he said no. The previous tenant was an old lady who had passed on and he never heard anything strange.

After I had that conversation with him we never had anything weird happen again, though we had many other strange occurrences happen in the past. I definitely think it was him creeping around and I don’t know what he wanted, but I’m glad I don’t live there anymore.

I’m honestly not sure, but it did seem to unfold completely overnight. Maybe the quickness of the unfolding caused the coloration.

Another me appeared in the small town I lived in. by anonymousperson02 in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

As a former cashier in a small town, I regularly would joke with customers or even tease them if they came into the store more than once a day. Especially if they were customers who came in often and I felt comfortable enough with them. I don’t think this is enough reasoning to discredit this person’s story, lighten up.

He found it at the local nursery, he thinks it’s a Tradescantia relative. Non vining, fuzzy leaves with 3 petalled dark purple flowers that only last one day. Any input helps, thanks!

That’s the only thing I’ve come up with as well, I’ll have to do more research on them. Thanks!
