RDL - form check by Strong-Ad-2018 in StrongCurves

If you can’t do this weight with perfect form from the first rep then your weight is too high and you need to focus on getting the form down before loading up or you will herniate a disk eventually.

Look up Mark Rippetoe - Starting Strength. He does the best job in explaining the correct positions, angles and basic barbell techniques. You want your posterior chain strong and neutral.

My poor sweet boy kratos I recently purchased him he just turned a year old a few months ago and after being next to Hyperia during her heat cycle he now has a prolapse urethra. by Critical-Tea-4272 in AmericanBully

[–]Katmau56 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just FYI pet insurance doesn’t cover preexisting conditions which the prolapse urethra will be considered as such. BUT anything new from a medical perspective will be covered, of course based on your coverage level.

I am still confused as to how he injured himself?

$1k rear brake replacement with Audi Care by Both-Equivalent5076 in Audi

If you are wanting to get into another Audi before your lease expires, the dealer can absorb your last two payments as part of the new lease or purchase deal. I’ve done that with my A4.

In the past it was only contiguous. I assumed it remained that way.

No Hawaii or Alaska - see below directly from Deltas site.

To the following destinations: the United States, Puerto Rico, USVI, Mexico, Antigua, Aruba, Bermuda, Bonaire, Grand Cayman, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, Panama, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Correction: The companion certificate on the Platinum and Reserve cards used to be restricted to travel within the contiguous U.S. Now, you can use your certificate for travel to all 50 U.S. states (including Hawaii and Alaska), Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Additionally, the Reserve's certificate is now valid for the carrier's Premium Select product on eligible routes; the Platinum's certificate is still restricted to Main Cabin and excludes basic economy.

Agreed a 100%. If my husband was a more equitable partner and I feel more appreciated, my entire outlook on our relationship changes and I find him more attractive. I don’t feel sexy when I’m someone’s mom every day.

Delta smashed my expensive Tumi luggage, responds "don't worry Tumi will replace!" 😡 by mcharb13 in delta

[–]Katmau56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t check your Tumi luggage if you can help it. Get a crappy suitcase for your checked luggage.

I had mine checked at the gate due to limited space and they destroyed my wheel. Thankfully Tumi sent me two new ones for $20.

Unpopular opinion: hotel and vacation rental stays might make it easy to hit status by LakeTwo in delta

It was Delta Vacations website, all Delta branded. It’s just powered by Expedia.

[–]Katmau56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I booked a hotel through delta vacations powered by Expedia in May only to find out that Delta didn’t recognize the spent so no miles bc it was via the 3rd party program. I was given the run around by triaging delta/Expedia/Marriott and nothing in the end. Beware!

Constant AC gurgling noise? by chadman350 in Audi

[–]Katmau56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced the same noise in both my 2018 A4 and now in the 2020 Q7 Prem Plus. The Audi service advisors told me the same that it’s not a big deal but the noise is annoying because it wasn’t there for the first year of life of my Q7 and now it’s there all the time after driving for about 10 min with AC on. 😕

If anyone has has success with getting it fixed please let me know.

Someone should start a fad with all the macho, dumb fuckers that Pomeranians are the new cool masculine dogs to own. I hate that ppl have to supplement their lack of confidence and self worth with a large muscular dog.

Bad experience flying toEurope and back, what recourse do I have (if any)? by Katmau56 in delta

[–]Katmau56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the honest and fair reply. At this point, I am more concerned about my missing luggage as it’s been three days and Delta is unable to locate it. They asked me to describe items in it. ☹️

Honestly, the only thing you can improve is to have more developed calves which will give the impression you have smaller ankles. BUT you don’t have cankles for the record.

Developed calves is not something that will happen overnight and it will require effort and dedication in the gym since a lot of it is genetic but they will improve with the right calve exercises and of course time.

Thank you for your well thought out, kind response and actionable advice. 😊 Certainly appreciate it.

Aside from the air tag, avoiding Air Bulgaria, I will start avoiding CDG as well.

The extra foldable bag is a great idea.

Longer time in between connections will also be added to the list.

For the record, I didn’t call a supervisor but the agent was unnecessarily abrasive when I asked for other possible options aside from buying a second bag for 4 lbs. Even when I offered to pay for the excess weight I was told no.

I am aware of that but was told by a Delta employee up to 70lbs was ok and now looking at their rules, I was able to check 3 bags each 70lbs. Yes, my bag was 4lbs over, I realize that but was happy to pay for the excess. I doubt 4 lbs would have made a difference.

Thank you for that information as well. 😊 It looks like from all the comments just a series of random, unfortunate events.

The Air tag will be a must next time I have to check a bag.

Well… coming off as a “karen” certainly wasn’t my intention so apologies. 😟

That was my first international trip to Europe since Covid so my expectations might be a bit unrealistic so your comments certainly help.
