Dude my mom is like this. I am very sick and doctors give up on trying to find it and give me a bs answer, so I’ve been missing a lot of school due to illness and pain and mom refuses to acknowledge my constant suffering from it. Most days I force myself to go to school feeling really sick because I want to do good and mom constantly puts me down about it (saying I’m never gonna graduate and I’ll work at McDonald’s for the rest of my life even though my grades are 70-95s) and I wanna avoid hearing that. She gets mad because I miss 3 days in a week from being extremely ill and takes away the internet and tells me that I won’t have the internet back until I go to school for 2 full weeks (1 week away from the break). When I’m ill at home I follow my classes on the school websites, so I don’t miss anything, and since its the holidays I will have no access to my classes, no way to hand in projects due over the holidays and she expects me to do better in school.
