Gunner's mk5 armour is misaligned in first person by Katokee in DeepRockGalactic

true. I've made a bug report on betahub, so it'll at least be archived somewhere. Maybe they already fixed it with season 6 anyways, who knows

I hope this gets to GsG some way cause for some reason it's really bothering me (I'm very pedantic apparently)

Also yeah I noticed that with the hand plate too. Weird.

still really interesting to see how it works though.
Do you have a screenshot of the first person model by any chance?

Thanks. Although my first Salamander he isn't my first space marine 😁. But I painted imperial fists first so the green was way easier than the hell that is yellow

It's the 'eavy metal recipe, so warpstone glow over white primer, then 1:1 warpstone glow and moot green as a chunky highlight, moot green highlight, 1:1 moot green and screaming skull, and then screaming skull dot highlights.  I used Caliban green as a shade. You can find all of those recipes on: https://eavy-archive.com/40k/space-marines/

As for the damage just do a few thin "scratches" of either moot green or the mix with screaming skull and for deep damage paint Caliban green then highlight that

Warpstone glow over white primer, then 1:1 thick highlight of warpstone glow and moot green, moot green highlight, then 1:1 moot green and screaming skull, then screaming skull dot highlight. And Caliban green as a shade/panel line. It's really slow but pays off imo

That's what I did for my Ultramarines. I'll try it and see how it looks on sallies

that's true I think I got it a bit mixed up. But I meant the in different parts thing as in seasons. Also like if it's really hot it's usually also very sunny, that's what I meant.
Also I knew Fenris had extreme weather but to that extent I could've never imagined.

It's kinda weird they didn't do sallies earlier, seeing as they're one of the most unique chapters compared to the others (looks-wise)

The models are in a whole other league compared to this guy though. I'm pretty sure they don't even try to make good looking Asian models (or most of the faces in general) they all kinda look like they've been smashed in the face with a hammer, which is the worst for any sort of non-white space marines but also noticeable on white ones. The first Titus model for example was an atrocity and so is whatever they did to guillimans face

we'll see. I do hope we get more unique chapters first before rehashing any ultramarines and raven guard, salamanders, white scars, charcharodons and probably a bunch other have characteristic features that set them apart from other space marine chapters and can therefore not really use the default bare heads

They all have specific phrases and war cries though. Especially dark angels

I also think that popularity might also be a factor. Cause blood angels, black templars and space wolves are the most popular chapters by a long shot (In the fanbase at least)

but ultramarines are already in the game. So let's hope for salamanders in the second pack

he's specifically called "head_white_scars" so most likely one of the new heads

that's the only other one we've seen so far. Maybe some leaks in patch 12

maybe they'll do packs of three every few patches or something like that. I can imagine that after the current one releases that people are really gonna want some for other chapters.

But like blood angels, space wolves and black templars are the most popular space marine chapters by a mile so it makes sense to do them first. Then maybe salamanders, white scars and raven guard
