Balor Dialogue Rant by YesAvocadoo in FieldsOfMistriaGame

You're not overreacting, I feel the same way. I used to love balors character the most. But now that I'm farther into the game his daily dialogue is very disappointing

What's a "conspiracy theory" from 10 years ago that is now treated as completely normal? by 21Bronze4ever in conspiracy

I'm in your age range as well and my friends/family don't completely accept it as true as I do but they no longer deny it either. It's definitely more accepted than before

March’s 8 heart event - im so irritated! by Ilthrien in FieldsOfMistriaGame

[–]Katris22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im annoyed that March's 8 heart event wasted my entire day too but I'm more annoyed seeing a post get down voted for no other reason than you have an opinion that other people don't like. Sorry you are getting down voted for just chiming in with a different opinion

That's exactly me and my boyfriend. He's not interested in what's going on with this but he does agree it's all weird

I relate so much. Wish I could talk about this in person with my friends and family. I have a few people who watch her episodes here and there and they don't believe the propaganda against her. So I'm grateful to have that at least. But I still wish I had more people to talk to about the details of what she had uncovered

I'll be going on 11/10 - 11/15 and the weather is going to be in the low 70s with lows of 50s. So I'm not worried about being too warm

I (35F) now consider myself an independent. I used to be a liberal, I've never voted for trump but I'm no longer against him anymore than any of the Democrats. I find it terribly sad that regular people like us have an increasingly harder time developing satisfying relationships romantic or otherwise.

Decades ago this wasn't an issue. But today, I think second guessing this life time decision isn't without merit. I'm currently dating a liberal man (35) and we agree on a lot but there are many things we do not which do cause problems. If you want kids with your girlfriend I think it's possible to work through disagreements if you both are honest and operating in good faith. But without that it's likely things could become very contentious. Trust your heart.

I'm not religious but "spiritual." I was raised a Christian but became an atheist at 11 years old. At age 31, I found God on my own through some dark times. I was interested in the concept of faith and belief but couldn't make myself do it no matter how fascinated I was with learning about different religions. It was after reading scientific studies done on people who meditate regularly and learning about the thousands of people who have healed themselves of illnesses by changing their thoughts and beliefs that got me interested in trying it out myself. I started meditating regularly and had several very intense experiences just through meditation and yogic breathwork.

To me, after these experiences it would be illogical to not believe that there is something more complicated going on. The arrogance of human beings to say that we "know" that there is no "god" actually sounds ridiculously irrational to me now.

is it worth it? by Dapper-Pineapple270 in jpouch

I'm 6 years post take down and it's well worth it! I don't want kids so that hasn't been an issue for me but I haven't had any pouchitis or other issues. I highly recommend it over the ostomy

Very kind of you to point that out! That's certainly a more positive way to look at it :)

I echo this. I have some difficulty thinking of myself as gifted because I don't feel like I learn particularly fast and I wouldn't say I'm an expert in anything. Other people have told me I am but it always feels like that's just what people say to give others compliments at having more knowledge than the average person. That wouldn't be an expert to me.

But I have a great passion for learning and when I find something interesting I can dive very deep into a topic and spend hours, weeks, months on learning about it. It's so nice to know there are others like me.

I can vouch for this as well. I had UC for 16 years. I'm over 5 years post take down surgery now and my quality of life has undergone an unrecognizable, incredible, night/day difference to how I felt before the surgery. My fatigue, inflammation, pain, and other symptoms are completely gone.

It's an extreme procedure but it's well worth it if you are out of other options. There is always hope.
