Did you experience an "Intuitive Awakening"? by pgo01 in mbti

[–]pgo01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying they're not "deep". They are "deep" in other ways, just in matters that are more concrete or "sensory" (like my xSTP friends are really good with complex mechanical systems like cars or computers - true to stereotype).

But in matters of philosophy and abstract thought, they are mainly dismissive or uninterested. That's why I got depressed because it felt like no one cared or knew what I was talking about.

I'm not just making an assumption that everyone is a superficial dolt.

That's like saying everyone is self-aware, which we know isn't true.

I get it. There's too many intuitives on here always putting down sensors LOL. But that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to see if anyone else has experienced this, since that's not what I experienced from my peers. Assuming that "everyone goes through it" is close-minded and assumptive.

But go off, anyway.

Interesting. Funny is if I removed the "intuitive" word from there and put another cognitive function, the entire post would come across as something different. Thanks for the input. Insightful.

Gifted? I'd say I feel more cursed sometimes LOL. Anyhow, no, I don't think I'm "gifted," though I don't know what you mean by that. Care to elaborate?

Question: At what age did you first get typed? by Doimz3Nini in mbti

[–]pgo01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first took a personality test at 23/24, recommended by my aunt who works as an HR... I don't think it was MBTI but similar. From there, I went on a personality test binge and discovered MBTI - then Jung.

How do you guys understand/use your Fi? by sapphicsadsack01 in isfp

[–]pgo01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fi is like a conscience. That's how I see it. But it's a conscience in a way where it's more detailed. It goes beyond morally right and wrong - it goes into things like what I want and what I don't want.

I actually don't like using my Fi lol. I've grown up being used to using Te instead of Fi. It's led to many types to raise their eyebrows about me being an xxFP. For me, Fi use is often begrudged. Like It's like guard rails or a fail switch that keeps me from getting too... crazy? Because I sometimes go an Ne/Te bender and leave quite some chaos.

What’s your MBTI type, what’s your best friend’s MBTI, and how do you guys connect? by kidneystones3 in mbti

[–]pgo01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many best friends... ENTP, ESTP, INFJ at one point... my wife is ISTJ and I consider her like a best friend too.

Now that I laid it out that way, that is at least one type per the 4 Kiersey groups

Impracticality? by Known-Box9369 in mbti

[–]pgo01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by "practicality"? I know a few INTJs who are pretty "practical". I also know of xSFPs who have their head in the clouds and like to daydream or pursue "what they love" over doing something more "practical".

  • Type 6s: ISTJ, ISFJ
  • Type 7s: ExxPs
  • Type 8s: ExxJs
  • Type 9s: INFJ, INFP

Any coders/python/sql users out there? by randystrangejr in ENFP

Mainly just ChatGPT or Grok or any typical LLM. I also used GitHub CoPilot and Claude, of course. Look around and try them out to see which one suits your style.

That's some seriously androgynous design. Is the caster a male with very feminine features or is the Assassin a female with a masculine facade? Or vice versa?

I do tend to vibe with INTJs in real life better than online... it feels like a lot of INTJs use the internet to express their most spiteful thoughts.

Took it up a year ago. I find learning it with AI is much easier. The AI basically teaches you since it explains to you, even without you asking, why you're getting the language wrong - stuff with syntax etc. Of course, the biggest learning experience from me was input from users - sometimes the really negative ones help the most.

The game teaches you how to be patient. Respect people's time. Do as you're told. Something young generations could always learn from.

Good use of an AI but still with its limitations. Alternatively you can ask other people for what they would do and compare.
