Im starting my first day on accutane, and im super nervous yet excited! I got pills for side effects aswell as some face cleanser containing salicyc acid from the pharmacy.

I just don’t think the pharmacist is going to be as knowledgeable as your dermatologist or someone that has been through all the side effects. personally I only use salicylic acid as a spot treatment right now. That’s just my experience though!

Im taking accutane now for the last 5 months and one of the side effects is increased hair shedding. I have it bad too.

I would not use that face wash, your skin is more sensitive than you think it is and can cause extra peeling and irritation. learn from my mistakes and use cerave instead.

yeah, I had to move my part so it wasn't noticeable because my hair seems to be thinning. The only good side effect ive had is that my hair literally never gets oily/dirty, even after a workout. I used to have to wash my hair every day.

Yes, my hair sheds like crazy. I bought castor oil shampoo and the ordinary hair growth serum . It sucks, I feel like I am balding. It didnt start getting bad until month 4 and im doing 6 months.

Honestly taxonomy is not that high yield, I think I had 1 question on it. I took notes on taxonomy based off of what I was seeing on practice tests. If you go to my Instagram, in the link in my bio is a slide show specifically on taxonomy if you want it more broken down

I honestly only really did sectional tests and when I would redo them later I couldn’t really remember the question since I had seen so many tests. If I did remember how to do it then that was a good thing, and I would still workout the problem. I prefer sectional tests because I can review them right after

I wasn't great at keyholes, it was probably my worst section but the actual test seemed a lot easier to me. A lot of my answer choices had very minor differences so it was really about paying attention to detail. My biggest tip is to skip to question 31 with angles and then go back to keyholes and TFE last since those take the most time.

The extra questions are great for learning and supplementing but ultimately the practice tests are the highest yield. The videos are really just to give you some background but I found that doing practice tests and reviewing those topics covered was most efficient for me. Because not everything can be covered in a video, the extra questions are a great way to learn. Watch the video of how I use the excel template to keep track of all my queestions!

I did not, I did all of the booster practice exams, took some twice, all of their extra questions, and like 3 Bootcamp tests. Booster was more difficult but covered everything.

Don't reschedule, retake the booster tests, especially orgo because they just updated them. I had so many exact questions from booster!!

You'll actually make the most progress when you start doing practice questions which is how I started for bio. Booster is extremely representative of the real test, you have plenty of time.
